Two weeks ago when bitcoins were worth $45 I sent BTCpal a moneypak. After that he signed on to SR once and took his listings down and hasn't been back since. I tried to contact him on TORchat but he hasn't been on that either. I didn't want to send the MP# to another vendor and then have both vendors tell me it's empty and the other guy scammed me so I've just let the order sit there. I tried calling moneypak to check the balance but they don't give out the balance anymore.
Does anybody know a way to see if the money is still on the moneypak? Has PTCpal gone missing like this before? Any ideas on what I should do? The value of my coins would have doubled if I got them when I ordered them and it's killing me.

You can enter it on paypal and see the balance ...

Can I check the balance without actually sending the money to paypal?

Yes, if you are logged into PayPal, click on "add money" and select the MoneyPak option. You can then input the MP info and it will show you the balance without actually taking the money out of it ... just make sure you don't accidentally tell it to!
