Title: withdraw problems
Post by: sellitall99 on March 25, 2013, 11:21 pm
This seems to be happening absolutely every single day now that people are waiting 10+ hours for a withdraw of BTC from SR. Im hoping this is the scheduled "maintenance" thats happening. Can someone atleast tell me how to use this "block chain" people are mentioning to track down a payment. This is very inconvenient with such fluctuation in BTC.

Read the FAQ before posting.

Complaining here will not get your withdrawal sorted any faster, it's just another thread I need to post the same response in. You will need to contact SR support, I am aware the main site it down for maintenance at the moment. When it's back up and if you coins have not shown get onto support.

Relax, everyone - withdrawals are just sometimes delayed and if after 12 hours you still haven't received the coins, then send SR Support a message on the main site.

about 27 hours now with just 1 of 2 deposits to my wallet. I made 2 withdraws yesturday and the the second one came through but not the first? very odd. Ive messaged SR support with no response as of yet. This is VERY EXHAUSTING when you peg listings to USD and coin value fluctuates. Sorry but im glad its not just me.

Is that supposed to be a joke?

No fucking bitcoin transaction should take over a few hours. And you want us to wait 12 hours?

Nevermind i had a frustrated review of support below, But that wont do any good.

This is a problem that needs to be addressed by the top dogs behind the curtains. I pay to be a vendor, you get paid commision for me being a vendor but i dont get paid the money SR gets commision on?. Talk about digging a deeper hole.

For whatever reason, sometimes withdrawals and deposits are delayed and take longer than the usual "few hours" to show up.  Other times, they get stuck somewhere along the way and need to be pushed through manually.

If I could address these issues myself, I would, but I don't have access to those tools, so there's no choice but to wait on SR Support, who, I might add, does always come through.

I do not get paid commission for you being a vendor.  I am a moderator on these forums only, and have no special permissions over on the main site.  All I can do is report to the admin when these issues seem to be widespread, and continue to encourage people to try to be patient and reassured in the knowledge that they WILL get around to addressing these issues.  I apologize for not being able to do more, but I'm doing what I can, as is Support over on the site.

I agree that these delays should not be happening, but the coins do always come through eventually, and the staff does what they can to prevent these problems.  I'll report it again, but please don't direct your frustration at me.

Sorry scout if it came across that way, i was saying in a general statement all regarding how money switches hands so quickly but very slowly to the vendor sending product. Hoping when i get home in 10 more hours this will be resolved.

I hope so too!  Rest assured that I've been in touch with the admin and these are just some site-wide delays but they WILL be addressed and you WILL receive the coins.  :)

yup, its all fixed now :) I was scared as I am a new vendor and it was my first withdrawal and it was not very small but I am very experienced with Bitcoin from way before being a vendor and  I knew SR would take care of it :) I had been reading the forums and learning the ropes pf the site for months before joining and knew this is a common issue. think about it guys, there must be thousands of withdrawals and deposits coming and going on the daily, and this site has a built in "mixer" bouncing your coins threw tons of "dummy" wallets before they arrive at the address you sent them from. I can of course understand why with such great volume that there is glitches once in a while and as a guy that is very good with computers I am marveled at how smoothly this site runs....It seems people take for granted how seriously difficult this site would be to put together and maintain. It is definitely a full time job for those "in charge" so just be grateful we have such a wonderful place with hard working staff.
