Title: Scammed for $1500 by scumbag 'etizolam' (92) Any ideas?
Post by: happy1031 on March 24, 2013, 07:45 pm
Put in an order for $1500 (three moneypaks) worth of bitcoin at $48 last week. He drained the moneypaks and never sent the BTC. All my messages to him have gone unread and there has been no response. His feedback is good, especially on BTC exchange. I don't get it. Like I said it's been over a week. I don't get it. anybody have any ideas or experience with this?

Also since it's a BTC exchange transaction the order is stuck in 'processing', and I have no way to leave appropriate negative feedback. How do I get word out there about this?

i dont see how 92% is any good. everything below 98% i dont give any attention to.

Btw look into your account information. There should somewhere be the ability to edit your feedback ive read somewhere. But as i never had to do that i dont know for sure where it is.

The 92% was all people being whiny about nonsense-- my two adderall took an extra three days, etc. Nobody said anything like 'Watch out for this fucking thief he robbed me of 1500 fucking dollars" Plus he's been around for a year.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Sadly it appears some people just can't do straight business here without scamming. Best of luck and I would suggest never using moneypak or cash by mail methods.

And I have to say it sucks that I need another 25 posts before I can put this out there in the scam section of the forum.

Etizolam's been around forever on here, and though in the past I've ordered product in the past from him with success and praise he does some seriously pragmatic selective scamming for just the right things like MP to BTC service and to certain buyers and others at just the right frequency and amounts so SR support doesn't shut him down outright, so if possible in the future only do things that can be don through escrow, otherwise tread lightly

I put in a support ticket, and SR support basically is telling me I'm fucked. I'm going to hit the 'report vendor' and 'report listing' buttons but I doubt that will do any good.

Unfortunately, transactions where you are purchasing bitcoins from a vendor are not covered by support because they happen outside of the escrow system.  You can still report the vendor, but support won't be able to help get any of your money back.

If you must use Silkroad vendors for purchasing bitcoins, I'd suggest not transmitting the moneypack until the vendor puts the order in transit. That way you can then finalize and be able to leave feedback. But be sure to finalize before transmitting the moneypack because I believe vendors can still cancel orders already marked in transit.

He is sketchy as shit when you look at what he has done in the past. Anyone who advertizes SR "Quick buy" should be avoided. Plus is name is so generic that if you try searching the forums form him its hard... coincidence... maybe

Really sorry though.
