Title: SR Pricefixing and the Mystery of the Missing Posts
Post by: KaleidescopeVision on March 21, 2013, 01:15 am
There has been an abundance of new post threads spawning about pricefixing, and supposed post deletion by mods who are working with vendors to fix the prices. I want to bring more light to this potential coverup. Where are these posts, who are these people posting? Please post here and let us discuss.
When I was new SR had no moderators, so what is with this new system? Seems to be bound to be corrupt. Also Ofcourse bing dealers are getting together and  setting prices bing makes you want more money more drugs its a plague

Yes it's true!

You have broken me down with your incessant posting and all the words. THE WORDS!

I am the kingpin of the price fixing. I am THE FIXER!!!

I set all prices on SR and beyond. I set all prices on BMR and even IRL.

I tell Walgreen's and Walmart what prices to use.

I tell McDonald's how much a McNugget should be.

It is I.

You have found me out.

Good job.

You attempted to run a poor guy off the road the other day who was willing to sell pills at 18 a pop. You wanted to buy his stock up and resell them here at your artifical prices. Another vendor tried the same thing. Then got him banned. Not after he took screen shots of the vendor forums though. Lower your prices or else..

*** That seems like a threat, right? Is that allowed?

Feel free to read DPR's post on this matter:

Also, the reason the threads were being deleted is because the vendor forum is meant to provide a place where vendors can discuss issues without fear of having them posted all over the main forums.

Hey Scout,

What do you think about this guy WhistleBlower threatening me to lower my prices "or else" ? (see my post before yours)

Is threatening for lower prices better or worse than colluding for them?

It's all so confusing ;-)

What I think is that if someone doesn't like a vendor's prices, there is nothing forcing them to place an order.  And threats in general are stupid.  People realize they're ordering drugs off of an anonymous marketplace to have them delivered to their door, right?  If prices are too high, someone else is free to come along and take advantage of the marketplace by offering the same product for less.  Vendors are free to set their own prices, and buyers are free to place an order with whichever vendor is offering, in their opinion, the best deal .. or has the best reputation .. or lives in a certain country .. or has been here the longest .. or is the best comedian .. or has whatever other qualification.

Markets operate based on supply and demand, and no one is ever forced to place an order with anyone.
