Title: DCN request denied... ?
Post by: ErgoProxy on March 16, 2013, 08:21 am
Hey guys.

I am beating my head against a rock here, if thats even the proer way to use that saying, whatever. Is it unusual for a seller to deny a DCN, when requested in resolution? I have asked for it MANY times in private messages, but that request was ignored until we got into resolution. Seller claims it was sent to support... but I mean, how do they know the DCN that was sent is mine, are they to know where it was sent to? Know what I mean?

This is just pissing me off now. -.- Maybe I am just being annoying here, idk. 15 hrs to go, and I get asked why I requested an extension on the issue. Yeah, money is money. I simply requested a 50% refund. And because the seller claims that "another package was sent 30 miles" from me, that is supposed to mean something? How do I know? Pair that with me not seeing the DCN, and not knowing if support is getting MY DCN, or someone elses.

Any thoughts?

Also, the seller says himself/herself that "There will be no refunds if I have mailed to the correct address and the tracking shows the package was delivered. "  OK, then hand over the DCN/Tracking? I fail to see the big deal here.

Anyone??

God damnit, this sucks.

I am about to go fucking ape-shit over something so incredibly pointless. I have a seller who sent support a photo of a DCN to "prove" he sent what he sent. How the fuck is support supposed to know MY location? All I really want to know now is what happens when auto-finalize ends? There is maybe 7 hrs remaining. I am not getting the extension I requested, at least that should be granted.

Anyone who claims they will only give a refund if the DCN does not showed delivered, and then refuse the buyer the DCN, is a fucking douche.

Pass along your issues with the DCN # to SR support. They are the ones who have to be told, not us. IMO the guy fucked your order up and the DCN shows that, which is why he isn't sharing it with you. The vendor could also have mailed a random item to someone in your area, got the DCN for that and is now trying to say that that DCN proves successful delivery, even though he may never have put drugs in the mail.

Good luck with your resolution.

I have done that. Made a request that support check our private messages, if possible. He tells me it is policy for the DCN to be sent to support, and not the buyer. How does that make sense? Also claims another order was sent just 30 miles from me. So my thoughts are exactly that  - The DCN from another location will be sent and they will make their judgement, without me being able to verify the information.

No help whatsoever, and it sucks. Dudes hardly paying attention to it. I just dont know what happens when the time runs out for auto-finalize.

Can anyone else verify whether or not it is policy to not send a DCN to a buyer, and just to support?

Overjoyed, thanks for the response.

No, I don't think there is any policy stating that the vendor should send the DCN to support and not to the buyer, but it's up to the vendor.
