Title: Ripped off by aldog25, Please help.
Post by: camelbyte on March 13, 2013, 05:54 am
So, aldog says that all his prices are negotiable.
I tried to negotiate the price of his iPad and we both agreed to 9.7 btc

After I sent the money, he completely disappeared and never even read my messages.
I created a fake account on SR and added a subject "Coupon" to relate to his listings.
He responds and tells me that aldog has left and will be away for awhile, I am only his assistant and I only handle coupons and ebooks.

Tried every possible way, sent him nice PMs, threatening PMs and the guy wont respond.
He simply stole my btc and left.

I dont know what to do, I cannot open a case, I didnt escrow. I am screwed.
My 9.7 btc is still sitting on his wallet and I still have the same wallet on my SR account. The admins can verify this. I am so upset. Trusted the guy due to 300 positive transactions.

camelbyte    I understand. Sorry about the swearing but I have sent the money since Sunday expecting the iPad by today and you tell me you haven't received anything.
Thank you, I would really appreciate the heads up once you ship it.

I am not sure what network update you are referring to but this is publicly available information.

Yep, like fredflintstone noted, you chose to go out of escrow, and Support will not provide support for transactions that do not remain in escrow.

This is EXACTLY why you should always stay within the escrow system. Otherwise, there's no way to get your money back from scammers.
