Title: Encryting Delivery Address via GPG, PGP, etc.
Post by: Chadearium on March 06, 2013, 01:18 am
I see this is required by many vendors, or implied so.  Is it so with all vendors.  Must we add this layer to the process if we just need a little sumpin for personal use?  I'd rather learn it than keep being rejected. I appreciate any direction.  I have the instructions, but...."So tired, Steven, so very tired."  Just don't want to waste any more time.

Thanks!

it really is important to make sure your dealings on SR, and anywhere you partake in potentially illegal activity, is kept as private as possible.

you take a couple hours one night, follow a youtube guide, post in the GPG test forum stickied here... it protects you, it protects the buyer, and by protecting those things we protect our system. please learn it, please use it.

^ This.  There is no reason NOT to use PGP to encrypt your shipping address.  Don't get sloppy and don't rush so much that you start forfeiting the various things available to you to help keep you (and the vendor) safe!
