Sitting here typing all kinds of crap in order to reach 50 posts? What is the point in this? I really do not see what this complete waste of time will prove to anyone.
If someone has the "official" reason to this stupid ass idea, please ohh PLEASE let me know.

As far as I know, to stop spam bots posting everywhere all the time. Even then they just spam here anyway.

hey, if it keeps spam bots away I dont mind the 50 post thing, sure its a tiny inconvenience,but it beats seeing spam everywhere

The "official" reason is that DPR and the admins decided to implement this policy in order to give us a better change to combat the "virwex" "btkoin" "mtgix" "bitcointalks" bitcoin spam which was causing a lot of users to lose money. This way, we are able to notice, identify, and delete the accounts before they are able to flood the rest of the forums and scam more people.

WHAT??? Spam robots? There must be 10000 other forums more exposed to spam robots than this. This is just stupid.

It's not stupid at all. You registered your account TODAY, so you weren't around before the 50 post rule .... if you were, you would understand why the admins implemented this policy.

My solution? This policy was created by DPR - the same person who made this place possible. It was not created by me, nor did I have any input in the decision. However, it has ended up helping a LOT. There's nothing I can do to "advance" a user out of this requirement, sorry.

If I was around before the 50 post rule I wouldn't be here talking to you about this shit. I would be in the heavens of normal threads, where a person can become one with the roads of fun once again. It's amazing shit, I'm telling u....
And yes, it's incredibly stupid that the best solution to this problem apparently is this massive waste of time. I'm having a hard time believing that there is no other way to do this. Or maybe I'm just an ignorant, which might just be the case.

What I'm saying is, this seems like the easiest and possibly also the cheapest way for the creators of this wünderbrä place to solve this problem. But there are tons of other ways to make sure u are not dealing with a robot.

That said, it is rather silly that we have to essentially spam to prove that we aren't spammers, so that we can start posting actual replies to threads we want. That's why I've had this forum account for a long time and I'm not anywhere close to the 50 mark. I waited so that I could at least try to add something of value while I reach my 50 point mark. But, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and start posting useless crap.
This is just a fact for most private forums, and I totally get these policies however much of a pain in the ass they are. Just chill and don't get yourself banned before you even reach your 50 by being belligerent. ;) You sound pretty spoiled and aren't realizing what a good thing we have here. Think about it, this is one of the most revolutionary places in existence. :P
Anyway, don't want to lecture you, or whatever, but take a chill pill dude.

Dude, lay off -- these are the rules. I didn't make them, and I can't bend them for you. Start your own spam-to-50 thread and it will be over in no time. Otherwise, if you're that angry about it, feel free to find another anonymous drug forum.
