For a while, silk road wasn't allowing me to log in yesterday. When I was finally able to log in, 3.53 bitcoins were missing from my account.
I checked my account history and it says that there was a withdrawal. I certainly didn't make that withdrawal. Is this a SR error, or am I out 3.53 bitcoins?
I worked really fucking hard for those bitcoins, I really need them back.

You need to get in touch with SR Support. There is nothing really that we can do from the forum end of things.
By the way, are you sure you were accessing the real SR site? At any time were you asked for your PIN during log in?
You may want to change your password just in case, because unless you were phished, I don't see how this would happen.

Turns out I was phished :/ I had been accessing the wrong link and it did ask for my pin. I should have caught that.
It's what I get for being a newbie. Damn, well that sucks. Now I'm really out $100 bucks.
Thanks for replying anyway.

If you're using a truecrypt volume, it might be worth bookmarking the legitimate URL ... or, even better, memorize it:
silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

O man that sucks. Some of these scam artists will pull off some convincing cons. Too bad a few of us couldn't get together and scam the scamers.

this is exactly what happened to me! I ended up at http://silkroadxmx45vk4.onion.to/silkroad/home and got thoroughly phished.
it appears the issue is with Google and StartPage.. if you search for the hidden wiki, the first hit that comes up is: http://kpvz7ki2v5agwt35.onion.to/wiki/index.php/Main_Page. this is not the real hidden wiki and most URLs are all faked. is the TOR community aware of this? do we have any plans on how to mitigate?

Yes, we are all aware of this and there are several threads about it here on the forums. The links in the hidden wiki are NOT to be trusted. You should never access SR that way.
-
Damn, I totally missed that. Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep that firmly in mind.
But goodness, I bet a lot of poor souls like myself are getting phished big time. :(

Never trust the links on the hidden wiki and only ever use the correct SR address as scout has already explained.
