Title: login error
Post by: momentus on February 24, 2013, 09:57 pm
Help. I took a few month hiatus from SR and now find myself unable to login. I know my username, password & PIN. From reading the forums I understand there have been hacking attempts, forced PIN resets etc. Can anybody from support look into my username (momentus) and help advise on how to regain access to my account? Thanks.

m .

There is nothing that can be done from the forums if your problem is on the marketplace site.

You need to contact support on SR ... however, I believe that if you do not login to your account for "a few months" that it may be removed from the system.

The prompt reply is appreciated scout. Now I know to login to SR more diligently. Is there any way to get in touch with SR marketplace support without logging in? I'm in a bit of a catch-22 right now. I can't login under my old account, and SR isn't allowing new accounts..

I will log this as an unresolved issue and pass it up to the admins if still outstanding by the end of the week (Friday)

thanks samsame & scout. I've regained access to my SR account. my first few login attempts were in fact against a phishing site and of course my SR account was wiped clean. arg. nothing like money lost to help drive home a lesson.

Sorry to hear that you were phished, but good that you discovered that and have hopefully changed your passwords!  I'll go ahead and lock this thread since it has been resolved.
