Title: Deposit not in account, blockchain confirmed
Post by: LetTimmySmoke on February 22, 2013, 08:29 pm
Yesterday, nearly 24 hours ago, I deposited 0.1BTC followed by 0.5BTC and another 0.5BTC into my account.  My account balance here on SR still shows 0.00.

I checked blockchain, and all of the transactions went through, including the follow-up withdrawals that are apparently part of the auto-tumbler coin-mix system.
Earlier this morning there had been something like 40-90 confirmations per transaction, although now the confirmation tag is gone - it just shows the transaction.  I'm not sure why - maybe it's because a certain amount of time has passed.

The vast majority of my bitcoins are still held in my Mt. Gox account, as I planned on waiting to see if these transactions went into my SR acct before putting the bulk of my money in.

My SR deposit address is 1QJyhSM8g7B5KUBEwmeXHjD7uWjhdo1vRL

What's the deal?  Is SR just simply backed up?  Do I need to send in a customer support queue?

I'm glad I started out by putting in a small amount.  I hope this situation gets resolved, as converting the main bulk of my bitcoins in Mt. Gox back to dollars and retrieving it would be a pain.  That money was meant to be used here.

Yes, go ahead and get in touch with SR support.  Things are probably just backed up.  They WILL get to you and they WILL make sure your deposits are pushed to your account.

Should we even bother to each contact Support as it appears we all have the same issue?  IF they PUSH the funds into SR (or whatever that's called) then they'll probably do that for everyone, right?  Would it be overkill for each of us to contact them?  I have not yet, seeing as how everyone seems to be having the identical issue.

Done.  Thanks.

A couple questions I just thought of:
1.  When I withdraw funds from Mt. Gox to here, should i check "Open Transaction (6 Confirmations)" or not?
2.  When logging into Mt. Gox, I use plain Firefox because it's faster than Tor, and I figured it wouldn't make a difference.  Should I be using Tor or does it not matter?

It depends -- if it is a system-wide issue, then it'll all be fixed at once.  If, however, some people's deposits are coming through, then the support team may need to hear from those whose deposits are still missing just so they know what accounts to look at.

Do NOT use Tor with Mt Gox -- they can and will lock your account if you access it through Tor.
