nice. cheers to that. It sucks that you have to get to 50 to show you're not a spammer, so you spam.  :-X I see the purpose.

well, the difference is that people spamming to 50 are real members of the community whereas these bitcoin spammers are spamming for the purpose of scamming people out of their money ... big difference.

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for clearing it up, and that there's a new version of smf out that patches these security holes the spammers are using. Time for an upgrade.

I am all for it if it reduces spam on the main boards.  I can definitely tell there is a lot less spam than there was before this policy was put into effect.
