I made a deposit through bitinstant and got the email saying it was deposited to the bitcoin address i used on SR. I've contacted SR support twice now and haven't gotten an answer. I gave them all the details and I have never had a problem with a deposit before and this deposit was a much bigger deposit than I made in the past and I'm very upset! Anything else I can do?
-
Other than watch the confirmations keep adding up on blockchain.info and waiting for SR support... nope. Not really.
-
I've been waiting 16 hours - nervously... anyone else experiencing delays?
-
Double-check that the transfer went through at:
**CLEARNET WARNING**
www.blockchain.info
And, if it shows the exchange has been made, then it will show up on your SR account. When you clicked on the support page there should have been a warning saying that transfers were taking a little longer than normal right now. If it's still not in there tomorrow (as I write it's 0122 EST, so later today), contact SR support again and repost in this forum again.
I'm not a MOD, and someone may give you better advice. But the above has always worked for me, it works for just about everyone, and it's the advice that support gives.
-
If it is showing up in the blockchain then the issue is the SR end so will just have to wait for SR support to get back to you. Deposits are taking a lot longer than normal right now though, please be patient, I know it's a pain in the ass!! I need to transfer some coins myself but am going to hold off until tomorrow.
-
I did contact support.. I guess their swamped right now.
-
Correct.
-
I deposited on thursday the 15th and SR said at the top that withdrawals were taking long, not deposits. They still havent contacted me either
-
The truth is that they're overworked. Frankly I don't know how they can do as good a job as they do. They'll get to you, I'm sure. I've never heard a single story of someone getting ripped off by SR. People who use SR, definitely. People preteding to be SR, yes. But actually SR? Not once.
Not only is what they're doing illegal, they have to be trustworthy too. Not many people like that about. It sucks, but you just gotta wait.
-
I appreciate the reassurancee and it is good to know it has hit others too because this means it is more likely that my funds are just stuck in the system somewhere.
If it turns up tomorrow then I may be ok.
It would really help if they would update the home page with a notice though.
That being said I appreciate the service they provide to help protect innocent consumers from crime and social stigma. I suspect that many honest tax paying decent people benefit from SR.
so lets hope then.

my account is -$1000.00 right now. not only was my deposit "rolled back" but it was never re credited. i don't know what is going on. it's been 3 days and i have not gotten any response at all from any admins. and it seems like they feel that all the problems have been "worked out". kind of frustrating getting no response at all. i understand that they MIGHT be swamped right now, but it took me a long time to make that money, and the fact that it is sitting in limbo is very unsettling.

I totally understand your feelings on anxiety, SR support will get back to you and they will fix any accounting errors but as you correctly stated they are severely overloaded right now so things are taking longer than usual. Keep me posted as to how this goes ok as I am sending reports of all unresolved issues to DPR.

definitely not just me haha... I'll PM you my SR ID. Thank you for your support and assurance.
Really need to get it within the next 12 hours though to hit a delivery window. Hoping...

SR support are the only people who can assist you with this mate.
Def keep me posted on how things turn out though.
-
How long have you been waiting? now SR ks timing out again... fourth day now, window closing soon :-( but there is still time...
-
Lucky you...four days and counting for me, no response from support :'(
-
Same thing has happened to me. Been 16 hours and still no funds :/ This sucks.
-
four days and my delivery window is about to expire, no response from support or any notice, not an ideal first experience I have to say... I would be lying if I didnt say I am bloody annoyed. well I hope whoever got my dough is enjoying it.
lame
-
What do you mean your delivery window is about to expire?
I am sorry you are waiting so long, I hope SR support catches up on the backlog soon and you get some answers. Sorry I can't do more to help you.
-
I mean order deadline to meet the next dispatch. I just sent another deposit in good faith and it went through almost instantly. The old amount is still missing so go figure. I am convinced it got lost in the crash as I took that address straight off the deposit page.
This time I ensured Java was disabled, disabled everything, virus scanned everything (even though it's a fresh OS anyway), double checked, triple checked, changed my PIN at least twice using a secured online keyboard, and pressed 'send'... worked... but the mystery of the missing BC's will remain until resolved.
I *just* got my delivery window so that was lucky.
Now that I have done that once, as I had to rush, I didn't take all the precautions I would have preferred. Example GPG and learning how to ensure BC transactions remain anonymous.
Anonymity is critical for my situation, as it would be for most people here I guess.
Looking forward to posting some more 'philosophical' discussions this weekend though :-)))))
And thank you for your patient reassurance and support. I'm still not impressed but I will maintain faith that the operators are honest people doing their best to help people in need around the world.
And may the state one day, and forever more, get the F out of our homes.
-
I am in a similar situation. I deposited a large amount of btc that never showed up on my account on Thursday, the 14th (the day the crisis began). I waited at first for a few days, but then I submitted a message to customer support about 50 hours ago. 18 hours ago, I get a message: "Did it come through yet?" I am sorry to say that at that point I was somewhat annoyed because obviously it had not, and so they were just shoving me aside for later. I replied nonetheless by again stating all my information, and I added the exact time and date and amount of the deposit on the blockchain record. I have heard nothing since then. My system shows that they have not even read the message that I sent back to them yet. I decided to send a second message 3 hours ago to tell them that I have not received the deposit yet, so that I would avoid getting another question like that again.
In my situation, I now realize that this is going to cost me a few hundred bucks, at the very least, or perhaps a grand or more - not a fortune, but a substantial loss for me nonetheless. It is unfortunate that customer support is not able to do anything about this, given the fact that it appears to have happened to a number of individuals. I will continue to wait... and hope. If anyone hears anything that could help my situation, please do not hesitate to PM me.
It is somewhat reassuring to find that I am not the only one, however I would like to come across at least one person who has had this issue resolved!
Best wishes to you all,
D
-
I know it is frustrating having this delay but I can assure you that if they are showing in the blockchain then SR support will resolve the issue for you, eventually.
Can you keep me updated on how things work out please.
-
Sure thing! As of now, no further response from customer service.
-
took a week but we got there, all resolved. Thanks Silk Road, you're the best!!!! Now to hit the road jack, and I will be back for more, for more, for more, for more, hit the road jack, and I will be back for more... dah dah dah dah..

You said it man!!!!

I can't wait for my own stuff to get resolved, but I pray it will be done soon! My deposit was made a week ago today. In addition, I have a second deposit that is lost in the bitinstant end of things, and it is turning out to be a huge bitch of a problem in itself! I just hope I can get the funds some how! In the meantime, your variation of hit the road jack will keep me truckin in my mind and soul! Yeah! 8) ;D

Contact SR support and patiently wait.
-
Same boat here. Blockchain confirmed transaction 9 hours ago but still not showing in SR. Messaged support, now waiting patiently like a good Roadie.
-
same problem... vexxing and frustrating beyond all belief. going on 22 hours now.
-
There now also appears to be issues with withdrawals, I have requested an update from DPR and inigo, when I know more so will you.
-
Now a day and 7 hours.
Just saying......
No responses from administration.
I guess they're busy........
-
Others have now had their issues resolved, hopefully yours will be soon too.
-
same thing happened to me as well...going on 25+ hours now. just glad to see i'm not the only one experiencing this problem. will be patient!
-
should i send all related transaction info + my SR wallet address to support? or is this information they will have already?
-

Wouldn't hurt to send it, just don't expect an immediate response.
Pushing 40 hours for me. Comforting to see others are having issues too. I'm guessing that running SR is a full-time job and that DPR and crew *earn* their rewards. Thanks to them for doing what they do.
-
This is getting fucking ridiculous. No word from admins.. NO support.. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many of the same forum entries are still here and they haven't been answered by SR either.
Makes me think that something is very, very wrong here.
WHAT THE FUCK SR???
WHAT THE FUCK SR???
WHAT THE FUCK SR???
-
Why is it every time there is an issue people break out the tin foil, if you had been around here longer than 5 minutes scurry you would have seen from previous situations they always get sorted out in the end and everyone goes home happy.
I m very confident the issues are being worked on, granted an update would be appreciated but it wouldn't be the first time we have had issues and had to wait for an official word from the man himself.
Hopefully we will get an official word on this soon and the problems resolved.
-
Same situation small transaction though. Ive been waiting on the btc for 3 days but i just message sr staff minuets ago.
-
Same issue here. Going on 60+ hours now. Have messaged support twice, no response and no bitcoins. This is just wrong.
-
Going on two days here. No deposit, no response from support. Very frustrating.
-
Yes, two days now and my mood moves betwixt anger and frustration to ennui and sadness.
I know others that have been scammed out of thousands here now, others that have lost BTC into the ether, and still more in our situation here, having deposited money into the coffers of the SR, only to become daunted by trepidation that things here are more than awry - especially after the issues that occurred on Valentine's Day ..... which seems to be the start of the most recent problems here that I can tell, from going back and reading the forum from weeks before. Always there was some utterance from the DP regarding whatever issue was happening.
Not so this time.
Arg!
-
It feels so similar to when you give a buddy some money to pick you up some product and they never return, and ignore your phone calls. Unfortunately I may have to resort to going back to the streets to find what I need. Very disappointing S.R. Hope you will finally fix all this or at least update us all on what's going on, but so far it's not looking to good.
-
Some 50 hours here since transaction. Deposit shows up on blockchain.info, but then instantly transfered out to another account. No record of ever receiving btc under my SR account history tab.....not looking good. Going on two days no response from SR staff.
-
Unfortunately I may have to resort to going back to the streets to find what I need.
I don't really believe in fate or luck, but there is such a thing as lousy timing. I don't know how long you've been buying on the Road (your post count is low, but I know that's not always the best indicator), but if you just got into this about the time the glitch occurred, well, that was one shoddy piece of lousy timing. Out of your control, of course. But, the same weekend that the SR glitch occurred, 3 of the major BTC exchanges were attacked, causing outages. It was chaos, orders weren't getting filled, money was missing, people were pissed. So, SR support is apparently still digging out. But, if you spend a little more time on the forums, you'll find a long history of things NOT being fucked up, and that should encourage you to stay.
Go back to the streets if you must, but where on the street can you buy what you can buy here without fear of arrest? I commit a couple of felonies about every two weeks, and I sleep like a baby (the K-pins help with that part, admittedly). Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
-
Yea, bad timing. Screw that. I had all set with a vendor a number of items to be sent out Friday morning here in California for the Moontribe event on Tuesday night.
Well, that sure go FUCKED BY BAD TIMING DID IT NOT?
Ah fuck this bull shit, I'm going to bed. Maybe I'll wake up to some nice headline from the adminstration somewhere in this forum?
Doubtful.
You'all sleep as best you can. Others have lost more btc than myself, into the SR ether of the DRP - or where ever bad timing, fate, god, satan, vishnu, brama, allah, a pig, santa clause, mickey mouse, or Barnacle Bill might have done with it in their seredipitious shitty timing. Moontribe will still go on - but I won't have the magic I promised my friends.
Good luck admins of SR, we are counting on you to rescue us from this gathering gloom.
-
This appears to be a very selective problem.
I was getting nervous when my last deposit did not show up for 12 hours, but now the first tranche came into my SR acct.
This is the 1st time I encountered a delay of that dimension but now it looks alright again.
-
Deposit doesn't show up after 2+ days, no answer from support. An other transaction (with a new address) went through immediately though. I'll try not to freak out. In the worst case I've lost around 80$. Not a fortune, but still something. I've send the support an other msg with address, amount, date and transaction ID. hope it wasn't stupid. Will update if deposit shows up.
-
I am afraid you may have to write off that money. :(
You are not supposed to get a new BTC address before you have seen everything deposited under the old address.
-
I've seen at the very least one fellow still receive his coins after switching his address mid-deposit. Apparently every address you've ever had on your account is still yours, but the automated system doesn't always handle it properly. That's the impression I have, anyway.
-
60+ hours in and my deposit is still nowhere to be found. Also mysteriously absent is any communication from customer service, either via my SR support request or through these forums. WTF? Why the silence on an issue that is clearly affecting multiple users?
-

To be quite frank, I'm reaching an end with the irrresponsibility of the DRP.
WHY IN THE FUCK CAN'T THEY JUST SAY SOMETHING????????? THIS IS WRONG.
THE LONGER THE ARE SILENT, THE MORE I THINK THEY ARE THE THIEVES.
PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
-
There is NO WAY that DPR and the admin would steal from the users of their community. If you truly believe that they would, then I encourage you to read some of DPR's philosophical posts.
-
Day 4, still no bitcoins. I've lost sleep over this 3 nights in a row now and still no end to misery in sight. :(
-
So sorry, guys. :(
I know that they will fix this issue, but I'm still so sorry that we haven't received a response yet.
-
Hi all,
I'm a new user who just made my first deposit over 24 hrs ago. That's not as long as I know some of you have been waiting. I've already sent a message to support. I hope this all gets resolved soon.
-

I'm in the same boat. Just waiting on my first deposit to hit my account as well. Odd thing is I was sent a nice tip for helpful forums support last night and that has already hit my SR account.
Knowing how awesome DPR and the SR team is, however, I am not at all worried.
I know they will make this right as soon as they can! I, for one, say thank you for all your hard work SR team/DPR!
I'll update as soon as my BTC hit my account.
-
Just over 70 hours since I made the deposit. Confirmed sent on mt.gox and blockchain. Like other users I'm seeing my BTC being sent to another address about 1 day in, why is this?
-
UPDATE:
My BTC just hit my SR account with nothing missing.
Hopefully this means that things are starting to get cleared up.
Good luck on the road ya'll
-
The deposits into those wallets that get transacted out I believe are just the coins going through the SR tumbler. The issue is (again just guessing) that those coins are being properly tumbled like normal but for whatever reason the accounts are being credited when they're transacted out.
UPDATE:
My BTC just hit my SR account with nothing missing.
Hopefully this means that things are starting to get cleared up.
Good luck on the road ya'll
Did you message support? If so, does it appear read now? Mine still appears 'unread', but I don't know if that definitively means they haven't read it.
Finally found a way around the BitInstant nonsense, and then all this happens. Been watching several products I intended to purchase get sold out in the meantime. Very frustrating. I hope it is resolved soon.
-
Same here, 80 hours now and no response, no bitcoins nothing. Been watching several products I intended to buy sell out. Now it seems as if those who have not been waiting nearly as long are getting their issues resolved first, and yet my message to support still remains unread. Guess I'll just sit around with my thumb up my ass waiting and refreshing every hour. This is seriously ridiculous. I just want my shit.
-
I finally got a response from SR Support, asking me what the bitcoin address was that I had my coins sent to. I'm going on five days or so, I think. It took SR Support almost three days to read my message. I'll keep you posted if I see my coins. :(
-
That's great news! I hope to hear from them as well.
-

I didn't contact support so can't help there :/
best of luck with your issue!
-
Just wanted to update and let you all know that I got my coins and a message from DPR two hours ago, saying sorry for the delay. It took several days, but it got taken care of. Hope this gives those of you still waiting some comfort and faith that yours will soon show up, too!
-
That's awesome... I'm 36 hours into waiting on my first deposit, so I'm really happy to hear that they are being resolved slowly but surely. Thank you for sharing.
-

Wow - this is great news!
-
This is excellent news, hope this is the first of many posts like this I get to read this evening.
-
I really hope so too.. I will make sure to update as well if/as soon as I hear anything.
-
I received mine as well, after a 3-day delay. Good to go. Thanks all, and don't forget to tip Scout once the sun shines on you too.
-
Posting to let people know that mine came through also. Got a message from SR Support saying sorry for the delay, but with as many members as I imagine this place might have I'd consider it a speedy fix! Just be patient peoples!
-
Woke up to a nice surprise today as well. Bitcoins in my account and a sincere enough apology for the delay. Thank you silk road for clearing up this mess.
-
Woke up with bitcoins in wallet and a nice note from support!
-
80 hours in and I woke up to no BTC and an auto-reply to my ticket from support telling me to read the FAQ. I wasn't actually pissed until now, this is ridiculous. Completely improper handling of users. SR support, wtf?
-
Where in the hell are the people running this show?
DO THEY NOT FUCKING CARE?? What does it take to give us a heads up they are working on the problem..
Day five.. NO money.. Entire event I was buying for ruined..
God DAMN it!
-
They're obviously addressing the issue over on SR account by account, so maybe they just haven't gotten to yours yet. I have no idea, but from what others have stated in this thread yesterday and today, things do seem to be moving in the right direction. I hope they will get to your account soon.
-
Obviously they are working on the problem as more and more people are getting their coins. Granted it would have been nice of them to put up a message giving everyone the heads up, but at least they are taking care of it.
-

I agree. Kind of wish samesamebutdifferent and I had received a response to our multiple messages as well seeing as how samesamebutdifferent and I moderate the forums ... but, yeah, at least they're fixing the issues.
-
Yeah it was getting kinda uncomfortable watching tensions rise as the time ticked by without an update, especially when you start to become the target of that frustration for defending SR and trying to calm peoples nerves when assuring them everything will be ok. It also doesn't help when you have a very vocal minority running loose around the forums whipping people up by spamming and spreading yet more FUD.
I suppose those of us who have been around a little bit longer have seen these dramas unfold before and just know they will get sorted out eventually which is why scout and I can reassure in confidence knowing it will get taken care of even if it takes a bit longer than some would like.
I'm just really pleased to see people getting their coins now, hopefully it won't be too long before everyone has their issues resolved and we can get back to normal.
-
It also always takes a bit longer on the weekends simply because it's the weekend and the site gets slammed! It'll all be back to normal very soon, I surmise!
-
Finally! 5 hours ago I got my coins, along with a short apology message from SR Support. In total, I think my deposit took just short of 5 days.
Please be patient people. They're not out to scam you. I hope you guys see your funds soon!
-
Great news again! Thanks for the update, fartsinthewind!

Maybe you should make a thread about it ;)
-
Or 300 threads about it because, you know, they run on the fuel of multiple angry threads all stating the same thing. :P (sarcasm)
-
This is kind of strange. I got a message from DPR 13 hours ago saying that my account was credited and sorry for the delay...
The strange part is, my account balance is still 0. So I guess he must have made a mistake while going through all the other accounts.
So be careful people that you have the right amount credited...
I'm still waiting for my bitcoins.
-

I'm going to be perfectly blunt here and phrase this as an open letter to DPR. I do not have any way of contacting him, so I have little alternative. Anyone who wishes to ignore me may do so freely (as always).
I really can't believe how this was handled, and it really bothers me. I'll explain why.
The first thing that bothers me is that the live system was altered for what appears to be no reason. There was no evidence of poor functioning regarding the deposit or withdrawal system that I was able to see. Why was something not broken having fixes thrown at it?
Not only that, it's been altered repeatedly. What the Hell was that "forgot your password?" link that was on the site for like, 8 hours? Where did it go? Why was it taken down? Why was it not properly tested before being rolled out, so that it was known it would have to be taken down? Look, I know how it goes and I know how much work and how aggravating doing things properly can be. It fucking sucks. It's one of your responsibilities if you're going to take it upon yourself to manage a service that people actually pay for though. Yes, we pay for this. Of the thousands of dollars I have spent, you (DPR) have gotten approximately 5%. That's a mean average off the top of my head because I make buys anywhere from 300 to 700 dollars at a time, and the scale isn't flat. That's not a small chunk of change, my friend, and I am only one person buying for my personal use.
What also bothers me is that despite a very vocal minority, no announcement about it was made at any point in time. No reassurance, no "shut the fuck up, we're working on it," no "a handful of users are experiencing problems, we're aware of this and working with them." Nothing. Yes, it's better to fix the problem than bother reading the forums, and if you don't bother reading the forums you can obviously miss the need for such announcements. Yes, I understand this is an illegal operation and you can't just take an ad out in the paper for a system administrator or something. But whether you can cash out the amount of coins you get or not, you are receiving them. You are being paid. You have excellent moderators who work FOR FUCKING FREE screaming at you about problems, and you ignored them completely. What you do with these coins we give you after we give them to you is immaterial. The fact that you probably have a day job is immaterial. You have an obligation to serve reasonable customers that are behaving reasonably. You did not do that for the past week, DPR, and have been failing to off and on for quite awhile now.
If you do not wish to or you are not able to do these things, then you should find someone you can trust and pay them an acceptable amount to do the job for you. There are a very small handful of people here on the forums that I feel could do that. I'll give you their names if you want them. If you have not approached them, you are remiss. That's what running a fucking company is, it's what people do when things grow too large to be managed without additional support. Then they go fucking golfing for two hours every day. Take a lesson. It's good to be the boss, but growth requires continued investment.
If you have approached them and they have declined, then ignore this criticism. That is all you can do while remaining safe, and while I once felt the boards were a very poor place to look for help, I've come to realize they're probably the safest of a number of very unsafe alternatives.
I personally have been approached twice so far with job offers to build competing sites. You will lose this monopoly if you keep treating circumstances the way you treated this one. I am not some nut with a tinfoil hat. I'm a guy who's been here for over 6 months and has been watching. If you don't want to put in the effort, that's fine. But you need to find someone who does, because this venture of yours that so many of us have grown to love is bigger than just you.
This is what you've come to look like to me; realize I do not believe it is accurate, but is the picture in my head before I modify it with logic, which means it's the picture almost everyone will have in their head because most people don't bother thinking about their thoughts, they just have them: you appear, for all intents and purposes, to be a greedy son of a bitch who'd rather take his cut and not put anything back into the company even if it burns down around him. What the fuck is not paying moderators about? Give them something trivial for Christ's sake. Something you'd never miss. 10 bitcoins a fucking month might do it. Throw them a bone, any fucking bone. At least answer them when they email you, man.
Yes, it's your personal pet project and it always will be. But your fucking puppy is growing awfully big and needs more people taking care of it. I don't know why you aren't seeing that, but I urge you to take another look.
- SS
Edit: I have just been informed that as of approximately a week ago, mods do get paid... so that kind of tempers what I would have said... I'd change it if I thought it altered my point, but I don't really think it does given how recent a change it is. It's good though, of course, I don't mean to ignore that.
-
Will be coming up on 96 hours in fifteen minutes with nothing to show for it except an auto-reply from support telling me to read the FAQ.......
This is my first transaction on SR and I know many of you have been saying that normally SR is 100% square and issues like this are an anomaly. Regardless, to go through this as your first experience using the service is very frustrating. It would be one thing if there were some basic customer service actions taken to notify users but there has been nothing.
I was referred to this service through multiple friends who told me how "awesome" it was. Time to prove it SR, step up.
-
I was one of those people who had to wait longer than usual to receive a deposit, albeit I only had to wait 48 hours.
However, another quirk I'm dealing with is there not being any "Get New Address" option/button on the page that displays my SR wallet address. Has anyone ever experienced this before? I've msged support about it. Not knowing that it is recommended to get a new address before a new deposit, I made yet another deposit of coin into my current SR address. It's only been about 5 hours or so, but then again, I'm not entirely sure how quickly most people's accounts get credited when they deposit--anyone care to share?
-
Will be coming up on 96 hours in fifteen minutes with nothing to show for it except an auto-reply from support telling me to read the FAQ.......
An auto-reply from support telling you to read the FAQ? What, exactly, is going on with your account? Did you make a withdrawal or a deposit? Did it show up on blockchain? Give us more details, please.
-
I saw someone complain about that back when there was that explosion of phishing problems. Be ABSOLUTELY SURE the URL in your browser says exactly this, and only this:
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/account
(well, it's okay if the "http://" is missing, but nothing else -- if it says anything else, you're on a phishing site)
-
The good thing is I've only ever been to http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion and nothing else. But which page is the "get new address" option supposed to be on? I don't see it on either of the following URLs, both of which seem to be the legit URL. All I have on my "account" page is "Click here to make a deposit" and the Account Links on the right. I checked my Settings page but that's just where I can change my password/PIN, etc.; Nothing about a new wallet address. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers!
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/account/
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/account/first_deposit
-
Yeah, it SHOULD be on your account page. IF it's not, get in touch with support.
-
Yeah, it isn't there--I've messaged support. I feel like I should've waited to make another deposit :( or just created a new account and start fresh. Hope I won't be waiting more than a day or so for the coins to come in. Although I'm glad that support eventually fixes whatever goes wrong :)
thanks scout!
-
/account/first_deposit? wtf is that...? I've never seen that before in my life... dude... test. Test early, test often, and never roll it out before you finish testing. Never. Seriously, that's the secret to being an awesome developer. I'm starting to feel like a broken record here, but I'm staring at these mistakes and they keep happening...
At least I know wtf the changes were about now...

Deposit. Confirmed on blockchain, block explorer, and mt.gox. I can PM you the info if you want but I don't know how much that would help.
-
Okay, so it's the same issue of having made a deposit, having it show up on blockchain, but never seeing it credited to your SR account.
For that, only SR Support can help and I know they're being bombarded right now ... so contact them, for sure, but also be aware that it may take them awhile to fix this for you.

I did contact them. I got an auto-reply telling me to look at the FAQ. I saw it more as a big "FU", whether it was on purpose or not. I will file another ticket I guess. I do want to say I don't blame you at all or have any negative feelings towards the moderators on this forum as you guys are doing the best you can given the circumstances and lack of communication from DPR/admins. I've been a moderator/admin on a large community forum and I know how tough it can be to be the middle man between a riled up community and a reclusive administration.
-
The other mod, samesamebutdifferent, and I are both thankful that most members have been quite patient and understanding during all of this. THANK YOU, GUYS!
David, definitely submit a second ticket - let them know the problem is not addressed in the FAQ and that you need someone to push your deposit through manually because it hasn't shown up in over 96 hours.
-
I made a deposit this morning, no more than 2 hours from going to my local bank to having the coins in my SR account :)
Business as usual ;)
-
Support told me that the "get new address" function doesn't appear until the system registers that I've made my first deposit. And since Support had to manually push through my first deposit, they told me to deposit again to the address where I was having problems receiving coin in the first place (48 hours before manual push-through).
So...unfortunately... made another deposit to that same address about 18 hours ago and, again, hasn't shown up yet :(
Do you all think it would may be worth my while to create a whole new account? I've already made two purchases on my current account and I would hate to lose the stats... But, however limited and local this problem is, it doesn't seem like it's been systemically addressed. I do want to stress though that Support has been helping me and that I'm not worried about losing my coin or anything--I just don't see any solution besides trying a new account (and hence new deposit address) and then just sending my bitcoins over whenever they arrive at my current account.
-
Ya, like I said in my post, I'm absolutely not worried about losing my coins. I just don't want to have to message support and have them manually push through every deposit I make. So I guess I'm just wondering--since it's just a local issue limited to certain accounts, whether or not creating a new user account will help?? I may go post on the newbie board to see if any first-time users are having problems. But then again, I don't want to scare anybody or dissuade people from transacting.

hi i brought some coins this morning sent them to my SR wallet and they are still not showing up, i have sent 2 messages to SR Support but have had no replies yet. Does anybody have any idea why this has happened and how it can be sorted, i have looked on blockchain and it is showing up but tbh it doesn,t make much sense to me!
I have purchased Btc the same way lots of times and nothing like this has ever happened!
Please help!

Have you even read the rest of this thread?
You just need to be patient - you've already messaged them twice and you only bought the coins this morning, so just try to be patient and know that they WILL get to you.
-
Ah OK, so that's what's going on. Been wondering where my coins were (deposited 8 hours ago).
I wish there was an announcement because I wouldn't have bought the coins in the first place.

There's no announcement, I'm guessing, because the issue is not site-wide. It is only affecting some members' accounts.
-
waiting 8 hours for my coins to arrive, hope they´ll make it
last times I got it after 2h max
-
I guess I'll go ahead and add my name to the list of those waiting for coin. This is now day 5 of my wait, hopefully I'm not too far back in the queue.
-
As I keep saying - if you are missing a deposit, contact Support on SR and then give it time.
-
...and just like that the gods from on high have heard my cries. It was almost 1-2 minutes after my previous post in this thread and my btc showed up ;D
-
Just out of curiosity, has anyone noticed any kind of pattern in the order the issues are being resolved? Like highest amount of btc first, or earliest btc sent first, anything like that? Or is it just random? :o
-
Payment just came through with an apology from DPR! Very pleased. Also thanks a lot scout and sometimesmaybe (i think that was the name :S), will send some coins your way when i've got the funds spare.
-
my cohort is samesamebutdifferent ... maybe *i* should be named "sometimesmaybe" ... those two usernames would go well together! :D
anyway, very pleased to hear that they got you fixed up - thank you for reporting back to let us know!
-
I like it ;)
I just had a transfer into my SR account take about 12 hours by the way so delays are still happening for anyone wanting to moves some coins around.
-
My deposit yesterday went through without any problems, but today has been a long delay.
But I realize I have been lucky since some of you have waited for days.
Just got my deposit in after 15 mins from sending a message to SR Support.
I just wanted to report some good news!
-
Yes, delays are still present, but they are definitely aware of the issue and still taking care of everyone. :)
-
Looks like my problems have been resolved. Thank you for the prompt fix!

Yes, for me too, good! I deposited about 12 hours ago and wondered why it didn't show up after a few hours max as it usually does, and has been refreshing page few times per hour since, and now within the last hour it came :D
-
My issue with my second coin deposit was resolved as well. DPR also says he is looking into the deposit processor since, in my case, neither deposit has been recognized by the system as a deposit since they were direct credits from admins. Without that, I'm still not able to get a new wallet address (system needs to recognize that you've made your first deposit before it reveals that option). In any case, I'm really pleased with how DPR/Support Team has addressed this issue. I hope that this will get fixed so I don't have to keep bugging moderators here and support every time I make a deposit :)
cheers everyone!
-
Coins showed up, now i know to wait 12 hours before stressing!
Thanks Customer support for clarifying things with me.

-
my coins were deposited like 2 days ago or something idk i wasnt on here for a few days but i even got a message apologizing for the inconvience!!! This website was built by really great people
-
I take it that Scurry eventually received his coins ... otherwise, we'd have seen 50 new threads from him per day. :P
-
I'm still waiting for my coins deposited on February 14th. My message to support sent 11 days ago still hasn't been read. >:(
-
Send support another message, jsmith.

You should contact them again if you haven't already done so, your initial message should have been read and/or responded to by now.
Sorry it is taking so long to resolve your issue, they will get there eventually I promise.
-
Send support another message, jsmith.
I've sent them 3 messages. They haven't read any of them.

Same thing happened to me. I deposited money to Mt. Gox on 24Feb, did the transfer to SR and it still hasn't shown up.
Mt.Gox confirmed that they sent to to the SR address I specified.
Hope it's just a backlog.
In my last purchase from SR, I got screwed by some a55 named deadguy.
Hope I'm not pouring money into a hole.
-
Pouring money into a hole? No, you aren't, and you can see from this thread and several others that the majority of the missing deposits have been credited / fixed.
-
This doesn't help any of you still waiting, so sorry, but I wanted to report that I was one of the ones who suffered from this problem, and after it was fixed by support, I have since made a deposit that went quickly and automatically as normal. Hopefully for you guys, this will be a one-time problem as well.
-
Hey all,
I was one of the ones who had experienced this problem in the week with two deposits. I made my third deposit a few hours ago and it went through without a problem. I can only speak for myself--and I'm sorry to those who seem to be having protracted problems--but, having only become an SR member this week, Support/DPR have been very helpful and courteous. I can't urge any of you who are still having problems, though, to be patient and to help support help you--which means including your blockchain info with your wallet address and... in general... just being nice to support! I think this applies to any kind of technical support--they're the only ones who can help you... there's no use in either blasting them with messages before they've even read your first one or lapsing into hysterics. Anyway, I say this just in general with the understanding that it's really frustrating to have your coins tied up--but support/DPR WILL HELP YOU... if you help them :)

That is fantastic news ozymandias2013!
-
My turn to chime in since I shut up and took off a few days here since I felt like I was going to go ape shit not having my btc.
After 7 days now as of two hours ago, everything is back up to speed. I finally got my funds.
A big thanks to the SR support team, and Scout and Samesamebutdiffernt for all of their help, kindness, and patience with me!

I'm still waiting for a response from support. I made the deposit on February 14th and sent a message to support 16 days ago. Still no bitcoins. Anyone else been waiting that long? Support hasn't even read the message I sent them.
-
Try messaging them again. I'm not sure why they haven't replied.

Please help .I am new here I sent bitcoin to first deposit bitcoin address I was given by system to make deposit and my account is 0 !?!?!?!? Im freaking out PLEASE SOMEONE FROM SUPPORT HELP !!
I suggest 3 easy steps:
1) Take a deep breath man!
2) Go do something else for a few hours.
3) Come back and check.
Repeat, if necessary.
It may sound like I'm being sarcastic, but chances are, time and patience are all you'll need. If that doesn't do the trick after a day, send a message to support. That's about all you can do. It'll turn out alright, you'll see.

Yay! Glad to hear it worked out!
I wonder if at some point we should lock this thread?

Try messaging them again. I'm not sure why they haven't replied.
I have sent them 3 different messages and none of them have been read. I assume I am sending them to the right place. I am sending a message to "Support" Is there some other way to contact them?
-
This is where you need to contact them ... at the bottom of this page:
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/help
(and it's SR Support -- not just Support -- but use that link)

Doh! Wish I would have asked about that 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the help. Message sent.

I got my bitcoins. ;D ;D ;D Thanks Scout!

Great news, thread now locked as resolved.
