Title: Payed for vendor-account while the bug last night - No Bitcoins, No Vendor...

Hi there.

I have to post in this subforum because this is a new clean vendor-account and this is my first post. Also I am still a customer... And that is the problem.

I bought BTC on a website and sent them to my SR-account. The website has a limit of 15 BTC a day. I had 19,8 BTC, so I sent 15 BTC the first day and 4,8 BTC shortly after midnight, when the bug started. I did not know that there was anything wrong of course.

Suddenly my balance kept rising and rising. I thought, it was a temporarely bug, clicked on "become a seller" and the pond was around 19,2 BTC. I thought "yeah, nice!" and because I've sent 19,8 BTC, I payed and got the vendor-status.

Later that day, as SR was back online, I saw a message that my vendor-account has been suspended and there were lots of random transactions. First my 15 BTC at like 7 times, then a withdraw for 100 BTC to an empty adress, then my purchase of the seller-status and after that the 4,8 BTC and then some rollbacks.

My pond is still gone and I already sent a message to the Support, who is not answering.

I am really scared now. I did not want to do anything wrong...

Hi there,

You will need to wait for SR support to get back to you regarding this and as I am sure you will appreciate they are pretty slammed right now.

The accounting discrepancies were not actual bitcoins so SR support will be able to differentiate between those that were credited in error and the real coins that you sent to your SR account.

It will most likely take a few days for SR support to get back to you, please be patient.

Hello there, thanks for the fast answer!

So there is still a chance, that I get my vendor - status?

I just wanted to help in this lovely network and this is, how it starts ;-)

Okay, so I will lean back and relax, waiting for an answer of the support.

Hopefully I will be able to set up my first listings soon ;-)

I cannot give you a definite answer due to the issues with people using incorrectly credited coins that were not in fact bit coins to make purchases with. In your case you should be ok given you had enough actual bitcoins to pay for a vendor account but things may have gotten rather confused.

SR support will clear things up with you.

Hello there!

I don't want to sound like Honey Booboo when she doesn't get her candy, but my first message to the support just hit the "sent 2 days ago" - mark and I still haven't got an answer.

Getting scared again now.

Does anyone know how long support needs these days?

The situation sucks, because I wanted to set up my first listings this weekend and now ~20BTC are lost, I am suspended and nobody is taking to me.

SR does not have a support center with a staff of 500, the fact there are only 2 moderators and 1 admin on here might give you an idea.

Please, it is not my intention to sound facetious but you need to be more patient, as you know SR had some big glitch issues over the weekend, I appreciate your frustration, SR support will get back to you but it will probably take a few more days.

Just want to echo what samesamebutdifferent stated -- you just need to be patient.  SR Support is always busy but WILL get back to you.

When you paid for the vendor account, did you do so with actual coins only, or were you paying for it using some of the "coins" produced by the glitch?
