Title: Posting Question -- Posting outside newb discussion

Pretty much like the title says, is there a certain amount of post you need to acquire before your able to post outside of the newbie discussion area? Like, the newb area is the only place that I'm able to post anything  :( I can't reply or start threads in any other area. Might it be post related? Or karma related?

Yes, you need 50 posts in this section before you can post in the main forums.
