I just logged in and have over 60 btc... wtf. As pretty as it looks I know that nothing that good happens for nothing. Anyone else having problems? I should have barely over 1. Messaged support, but wanted to see if anyone else knows anything.

Something is 100% wrong.
I recently deposited coins and have 6 times more the amount than I should. Its seriously like I hit a little lotto here lol. Was really sketched out at first but its probably an SR problem. But I mean thatd be good if were just the lucky few.
Checked my account history and theres a bunch of random deposits after my legit deposit.
Hope we get an update from staff.

Wow. Something must be up. I sent a withdrawal to at about 11PM UK time and it still has not shown up (now is 1.10AM UK time).

i reloaded the page to see i had 6btc... reloaded again and i had 12!!!... first thing i thought was something is wrong with SR so i tried to transfer to another wallet to see if the transaction would actually go through (yes! really!) checking blockchain.info i can see it has come from my sr address but its going to a different address than i requested. strange. it does have 4 confirmations but only for 6btc...
this is all really weird!

No record on blockchain so should most def be an SR issue with the numbers. My account history says that these deposits are real though.

60 BTC? Jesus. I don't know too much about how SR handles BTC, but if it tumbles them, I'm assuming there's been a huge glitch in this process.
In theory, someone could withrdraw their 'extra' BTC and pretty much run off with a huge amount of someone else's money without any actual backlash.. Heh.

If this is as serious as it sounds, those holding large stocks may try and offload them causing a crash in the BTC price. What would happen if I tried to purchase BTC instantly now. Would they go through multiple times and I would receive more? For those who have received extra, why not try donating 1 to each of our usernames and we can see if they reach us? My guess is that at some point, they'll take the site down or at least disable withdrawals in order to prevent people from being able to withdraw all these extra coins before the issue is fixed.

looks like sr have somehow disabled withdrawls and if you try you loose it, has any one had success send them to another wallet, try mine if you want 0.01 to see if it sends from sr to sr account.

SR takes about 30mins-2hours anyway. A few of us have tried to withdraw but without any luck.

As unlikely as it is, hopefully that's the case and this isn't the tumbler spitting coins out. I mean that 35k btc transaction on the blockchain is crazy. It's too bad that nothing is really free. It's surprising that the administrators haven't noticed, but I suppose not monitoring things close enough to notice is more secure on their end.

This happened a while ago. It lasted for about 4 hours, maybe 8. All orders were canceled, and the clock reset.
It was a SR software bug, that time. Sounds very similar. Good luck spending it ;)

This would be instant. This means, these are not ACTUAL bitcoins... but rather, some kind of glitch in the calculator for the site or something stupid.
I exchanged $50,000 between a couple SR accounts, which just further tells me it's a bug within SR's code. Hopefully it get fixed, and there's not any delays on my LEGIT orders.
I'd advise people NOT to place orders w/ fake coins. This is just going to cause more of a headache for everyone.
Yeah, this is going to be a mess to clean up. Also would hate to see vendors lose money by processing orders placed using these actually non-existent extra coins.

I just checked my address on Blockchain and it doesn't match my SR address. So I'm not sure if this is actual BTC or a SR glitch.
So Blockchain is showing the BTC being sent to people, but not them being used.

hi guys,
i offer a bit of explanation based on some basic research i did earlier on.
the private keys to all the addresses generated in your accoutn are owned by SR (ie, they are stored on the SR server).
when you transfer money to your account, you are actually transferring it to SR wallet ( well, so far so good.. most exchanges also function this way ). these coins then get tumbled, or moved around and when needed for get withdrawn. In most cases, there will be no link between your deposit address and your withdrawal address.
i have noticed that soon after a deposit ( within a few hours ), the money leaves the address, without me making a purchase or withdrawing anything.
the amount that shows up on your acccount page is a number that is stored in a DB ( most probably ).all this leads me to believe, with a great amount of certainty, that this is indeed a glitch, and has nothing to do with your actual account balance.
this is also probably the reason why you are unable to withdraw any coins.

I agree with AA only if it wasn't DPR/SR losing out on the money. For a little while last night, I believed it wasn't. Then we all started to test it out, and Blockchain wasn't reporting any of the fake btc transactions.
I'm pretty sure DPR lost out on a chunk of money anyway, not sure how much. People went on shopping sprees last night, and while the BTC got rolled back, the orders are still there. So your account just goes negative. I decided to cancel the orders, my other option was to resell the drugs to pay back, but I didn't want to risk not being able to for some reason.
I wouldn't be surprised if some people are gunna wait on the product to show up and then just ditch their negative SR accounts. I was only negative $160, so that thought didn't really come through for me.

Support didn't say a word, it just shows a negative balance on my account. The vendors already had the BTC in escrow, and I could have just let the orders go through and get the product. From there, I could have either resold some of the product or ditch the account.
I decided to just ask the vendors to cancel, and they did within moments of messaging them. Didn't feel like chancing anything, and I was only negative -$160, so it wasn't a hard choice or anything lol.
I was asking about this in the official thread by DPR, but no one responded.
You think SR staff are dealing with those who spent more than just a couple hundred fake btc? I have a feeling they didn't let everyone go by like this.

The money was in escrow, so I don't think vendors can tell who spent fake BTC or not. SR would take the loss.
Like I said, the orders seemed like they were going through fine and on my account it showed that I was both negative and in escrow the same amount.
Edit: Just got this PM.
So, interesting update. Everyone I had pending orders with got an email from SR Support saying that I had placed the order with coins acquired through a mistake in the system, and please cancel the order. So, one by one, my orders are cancking. That's the bad news. The good news, of course, is that my debt keeps going down. So, I guess I'm glad that in the end I wasn't actually penalized for trying to take advantage of a "bank error in my favor." DPR just fixed it so everythings back to even stevens.

How did you go about buying BTC? If Bit Instant, email or call them and they'll send them out for you.

Was just saying if you knew how btc worked, you'd know that the btc was in transit to the address you provided, no possible way for your measly 85 bucks to be dispersed to other SR members thats fool's thinking. We were only getting insane amounts of "btc" because it was a glitch in the system, a numbers glitch. deposits were being credited over and over until DPR shut down SR himself.
Don't worry buddy, you'll get your 85$. If it doesn't show up, like Moon Fried said, contact bitinstant they'll work it out with you

Im pretty sure I did the transaction correctly. I have shitty handwriting, so sometimes the cashier has put the wrong numbers in. When they put the wrong numbers in, their computer doesn't allow them to finalize the deposit. It has to be a valid account number. There were no problems today when I went in so I assume they sent it to my account. Unless the lady entered one digit wrong, and that combination of numbers happened to be the bitcoin wallet of some random person. I really doubt that though. Maybe bitinstant just made a mistake or something. After seeing reports of people having 900 BTCs in their accounts today, I started to get a little worried. Sorry if I freaked out a little bit. I know 85 dollars doesn't mean that much to you supreme coldhearted drug kingpins, but for a regular guy who just saved up enough money to get a 5strip it's kind of upsetting to find out that your money pretty much disappeared without a trace.
P.S: I dont plan on being poor for very long. Im going to make an account on black market reloaded, and start selling bottles of my own piss for HALF the price of the other piss sellers. Ill put them out of business and make my own piss bitcoin empire. Ill make thousands of dollars and then ill be able to buy whatever I want. LOL in my opinion that's the name of the game. You can just sit on BTC and make a profit (in $) or you can just man up, buy some drugs, and flood the streets with the best shit the area has seen.
Of course it comes with risks though but even if you were super worried you could just sell small amounts. In the USA if you only keep personal amounts on you and can afford a lawyer then even if you get caught the charges will probably be dropped.
