I cannot believe this just happened, 6:38 pm UTC. The REAL silkroad (http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion) kept timing out on my laptop (wouldn't load the login page), so I went to the Hidden Wiki for another link. It turned out to be a phishing site. I biked to my home computer ASAP, connected to silkroad, changed my password/PIN, but it was too late. fuck. fuck. fuck. ฿25.53 gone. That was going to be Spring Break money. Ugh. I hate myself.
Is there anything that can be done?

DO NOT USE THE LINKS ON THE HIDDEN WIKI THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY.
Sorry you got scammed.

Unfortunately, nothing to be done about the money you lost, but it's an important reminder for everyone to either MEMORIZE the SR address, or bookmark it. NEVER access it from the hidden wiki "link" or any other randomly-posted link on the net.

NO offense how did you think there was another link to use?
it makes no sense cause if you don't know what your gettin into than dont. if you had taken the time to read up on how tor operates you would have not made this mistake.
to anyone who reads this take at least 7 days reading on how tor operates and how bitcoins, silk road work. cause learning a lesson by losing money is the crappiest lesson.

this exact thing almost happened to me last night when SR went down.. but when I clicked on the hidden wiki link, the sr linked seemed a bit off so I stopped mid-way while entering my password.
