So I placed an order on feb 3rd or 4th for $3100 plus shipping and it has sat in processing ever since.
So at this point I say fuck it and cancel the order as I was tired of having my funds tied up.
To my astonishment and disgrace I see only $2900 returned into my wallet. Where did my coins go? The price of the BTC has gone up around 2 dollars per BTC since I placed the order so it's not like my coins have depreciated in value.
I would have been fine with having $3100 in BTC returned to me even though if I had just held on to the coins they would have risen a good amount in value. But robbing me of $200+ is a disgrace!
WTF?????

Contact SR support also it can take a little while for all coins to get back to your account.

No, when you cancel a transaction, all the funds should instantaneously be returned to your wallet.
I've sent a message to SR Support but they haven't gotten back to me yet

The vendor you used probably used escrow hedging which involves a fee -- hence why you lost money upon cancelling the order.
-
Upon further inspection I lost closer to $100. Still very angry. It makes no sense why I should lose $100 because the vendor couldn't ship my order out in a week. >:( If I just held onto the coins they would be worth $3300+

Unfortunately I don't think there's anything you can do about it. You could try contacting the vendor to let them know, but still, YOU were the one who cancelled the order, not the vendor, so I don't think you'll get much help there.
