The admins implemented a new policy where members have to have 50 posts in the Newbie subforum before they are allowed to post in the rest of the forum.

I seriously hope I can post again in the whole forum as soon as I'm approved as SR Vendor.

If inigo grants you access to the vendor forum, yes, you will be able to post anywhere you like regardless of your post count. :)

Any measures to prevent the spammers seem right, but this one in particular seems way too drastic. I want to leave a comment on the thread of a seller, but I can not, and that affects the whole purpose of the forum.
Maybe for some 50 comments seem few, but it is too much for someone who does not feel comfortable writing in English and only want to leave a comment if you find it necessary.
Probably the cause of the wave of spam on this last time not only wanted to scam, if not, cause much deeper damage...but censoring the forum is probably what they were looking.
I have the same nickname in SK, and I spent 23.12 bitcoins (6 transactions, refund rate 0%)... I think that I and all users who are in similar circumstances (showing that they are buyers) should have the freedom to discuss where they want.
If everything continues like this, I'll have to go to the Newbies section and post up to 50 ... as some have done. But I will not get to that point, because it is unfair and also tor is very slow :(
If something sounded rude is because I have bad English, the only enemy is the damn spammers

I've been a forum member for a while and just don't post a lot. I really want to post in nipplesuckcanuck's thread because it's been 3 months and I haven't received my product and about a month since he was going to 'check with shipping'. He's also been non-responsive to my messages on the Road. I really don't post anything besides reviews and/or complaints.

ah t

ah I see now, thanks! so there's also a chance one may be granted access to the vendor forum before he reaches the 50 post counts?

That's pretty silly. It should have been for new accounts after the policy has been set in place. I've been an SR member for over a year and change accounts often for security reasons.

Lool this idea i understand, for spammers etc etc, but for vendors like me is no good,i can't even reply to my own vendor thread....Wtf?

Then when you get to 35+ transactions, send a message to inigo requesting access to the vendor forum. That will allow you to post wherever you'd like, regardless of your post count.

I asked Inigo many months ago didn't reply back to me i just messaged him back again asking this, flew past the 35+ long time ago,im sure i meet the criteria..100 on the scorefront also, just don't wanna be posting crap just for the sake of hitting 50+ post counts im busy enough :-) but thanks for the suggestion all helps bro.

Dang, I wanted to post on the LucyDrop thread and can't. Now I know why at least... guess I better start posting more on the newbie threads. ;)

Wow well i thought i was going crazy because i didnt have a quickreply button anymore, but i too feel like a lot of people here that 50 is too high, how are people supposed to rate the vendors if they dont have 50 posts, i have been a member for awhile but dont have much to say, hopefully i can make it to 50 soon...

Makes sense to me too. I was going to describe my experience with a seller and didnt understand where the buttons went. I dont feel like spamming the newbie section just to get access... So fuck it, guess my feedback isnt wanted so its not going to be given.
Ill give it a few months and see if Im allowed to post again.

This 50-post rule, although well-intended I'm sure, is unfortunate for the SR community.
I don't personally have the time to sit here and rack up 50 posts on this forum, so I won't Therefore, the rest of the SR community will not get to see my reviews of vendors that I've been ripped off by, leaving them free to rip off more customers.
