Title: How to Contact when SR Goes Down?
Post by: reeki789 on January 30, 2013, 07:50 am
So what's the plan for if SR ever gets shutdown.

Just wondering if some vendors have secure emails setup for people to contact via PGP if this website gets shutdown completely. Pretty sure i've seen some vendors doing it.. But i see a lot have SR emails, would these still work?? i would thhink they would need non SR emails.

But i've been thinking about this question for a while. just want some input

Many have tormail.net or tormail.org addresses listed on their profiles here or over in the marketplace on their vendor profiles.

ya it's what i thought i guess i just gotta spend the time, go through all the vendors in my category and make a list of all the ones that have non SR emails.

i just want to be prepared for the apocalypse. I can't lose access to my Twinkies.

You can set an emergency back up address on your profile on SR so that if SR were ever to go down for good, the coins would be sent to whatever address you provide.

SWEET! I don't think a lot of people are aware of this!
