Title: sending money taking a really long time

hey just wondering if anyone else is having a hard time sending money it taking over 4 hours for my money to go onto sr. i double checked the address and its correct.

YEAH sometimes it is quick and sometimes takes 24 hrs. I would just check it the next day.

yep it takes a long time from my experience as well

I used BitInstant yesterday.  BI xfer'd it by the time I got home from CVS/Redbox (about 10 minutes) and it took about 6 hours to show up on SR (using the BI -> BTC Wallet option). I guess there's a way to check the blockchain?  I'm still new myself, but have been reading around about different 'issues' others have been having.  I'm sure it will be there, hopefully sooner than later with the way BTC prices have been fluxing...

It's the nature of the Bitcoin protocol. Don't be alarmed.

This happens sometimes.  Make sure you report it to SR Support so that the admins / staff can look into each one!

don't worry man, im still waiting for my coins to get through to my SR wallet too. been waitin about 5 hours now and the network has confirmed it, i guess the SR is just a bit slower than usual right now.

I've had it show up on silk road within an hour, and I've also had it take roughly 30 hours. Be patient, no need to get alarmed yet.

people think bitcoins is instant...well it aint, can take like half hour
