When i click "Show unread posts since your last visit" It now shows Dozens of posts from BITCOINTALKS.COM 10BTC = $8.95
or w/e shit, along with dozens of other posts from the newbie forum that I cannot post in.
Well done, i hope you figure on changing this because it only takes a few minutes for a spammer to reach 50 posts, and a lot longer or a Vendor to reach 50. (especially if they cannot post in "Product Offers") and for $500, they shouldnt have to go through this hassle.
It took me a long while to reach 50 posts. now people are going to reach 50 posts easily because they are forced to type crap in the newbie forum.
any idiot can do that.
Maybe update the forum to give vendors a one-time code to avoid this trouble. and exclude the newbie thread.
it would be much easier to just allow users to report spam posts, and after 5 reports, a thread is automatically locked and moved to a subforum "pending threads (possible spam/scam)"

I'm getting a mixture of the usual threads and some Newbie threads but no spam at all. Remember that the SMF software that runs the site was upgraded today from 2.0.2 up to 2.0.3, so give them a few days to iron out any glitches which may occur and go from there.

Yep, just went through all the forums and deleted the spam that accumulated this morning. :) Should be looking pretty clean! If I missed any, just hit the "report" button and I'll take care of it!
