I responded to your PM and was in no way patronizing you. The fact remains that this is not currently a widespread issue - it is isolated, and as you yourself mentioned, the OP never received the btc because he accidentally sent his bitcoin to a non-SR bitcoin address. SR is NOT having problems, so there's nothing to warn people about. The system is not broken. The OP's issue was due to a mistake on his part, or using the btc address of a phishing site. Either way, it was not an issue with SR as they looked into it and found that the btc was sent to a wallet not belonging to the site. If SR were having issues, there would be more people reporting it and an announcement would be made as soon as possible. But that's not the case. The OP lost his money because unfortunately he sent it to a non-SR wallet somewhere.
