If it makes you feel any better, I waited just as long to be let back into my account as well, and neither inigo nor DPR had any idea what could have happened to lock me out. I use a LiveCD and have a computer only for SR - I memorized the URL about a year ago, I never download anything, and my password is unguessable ... but this is the 2nd time it has happened and no one knows why. So, in some of these cases, it's not a matter of forgetting the password - I certainly didn't forget mine. But I do agree with samesamebutdifferent in that you need to learn to be patient and understanding about the time it takes for a response - the team is always dealing with issues as quickly as they are able to, but it's a small team and I can only imagine the huge number of messages they receive every day!
