Unfortunately, I'm not as familiar with non-osx GPG things,
Hi scout, always get the same error message when i import a key on gpgtool :
importkey_error and then i cant do anything (half time works) as i get this  (translated from french)  "service "openpgp : "encrypt" can't be use because the application did not respond to service demand. Try to open again "(null)" or contact the editor to get an update"

dont know what to do... some would be great.
Thx a lot,

italosvevo@tormail.org

Are you running the nightly build of GPGTools?  I'm having the same problem - it must be an issue in the latest release, so hopefully they'll fix it in the next nightly build.

Dear member,

Next week my vendor account will open and i will sell SOS cocaine 70%, i will sell uncut pure flakes cocaine, en ketema hasj.
I have invested in machines packaging and i know the costs.

I will sell my 70% for like 5.5 BTC
I will sell my uncut Flake cocaine for 7 BTC
And ketema HASJ Morocco for 10 gram 9.9 BTC

Do you think my prices are good and fair. everything for your all.
Send me pm if you are interested

You need to have a vendor account before you can offer products -- and even then, you shouldn't be taking orders via PM.

That's not something that is up to me.

not at all, just make the rest of the "newbies" spam like crazy

There is a difference between actual users spamming to get their 50 posts and spammers spamming in order to scam people out of their money.

I'm not the most outgoing person in the world, far from it. I'm in my early 20s and I suffer from depression and anxiety. Its very difficult for me to make new friends. As a student, you know how everyone wants to go out, party, and let loose.

To be honest, the contact I've had with you guys on these forums, have been a godsend to me. Talking with you guys, joking around, and helping when I can really fulfills my need for human contact.

I want to thank everyone here for being so friendly and helpful. I love all of you! (no homo)

I know exactly what you mean!  :)  Found the same thing here myself.

50 posts to stop spammers? I don't even think it would need to be 50 posts, maybe 5 or 10 would do for the most part.

You'd be surprised - last night, spammers posted up to 15 posts within 2 minutes of registration.  I don't know how they do that, but they did ... in fact, about 30 different ones did.  It was awful and time-consuming to deal with, but at least it was all stuck in the newbie forum.

5 to 10 posts would definitely NOT be enough.  In fact, while I was deleting one bunch of spammer messages, another spammer was able to get up to 35 in less than 5 minutes!

Just been there people are pissed off, I think 50 posts is a bit harsh but maybe that's to limit the virwex spammer to one board? Newbies shouldn't be punished for the spammer but it's difficult to reach a happy medium. +1 my thoughts are with you samesamebutdiffernt. +1's to all I can on pages 166, 167, and 168. Have a great weekend ahead everyone :)

it actually REALLY helped last night - it was much easier to keep up with when it was all relegated to the single subforum, even though they hit particularly hard.

Thank you so much you are awesome!

Can you give me a few more details about your set up?  For instance, are you using something like Tails on a USB?  Or ... ?

Newbie discussion / Re: A message on Virwex spam from Connoisseur
« on: January 17, 2013, 06:50 pm »
Connoisseur sent me a pm asking me to post this cause he reached over the 50 limit to post here:

Hi,
I can't post in the Newbie discussion anymore, but spread this update please:
The Virwex scam spam has muddled through and now creeps up on all forums again. SR/DPR will have to go another way to stop this annoyance.
The 50 post limit is useless in this fight now.
SR/DPR will have to come up with a new defense.

No, it isn't useless -- thanks to the 50 post requirement, we were able to keep the spam completely off of the rest of the forums last night in spite of the spammers hitting particularly hard.  Since we can't be on 24/7, there will be times (like this morning) when the spam builds up a bit, but as soon as one of us is able to, we delete it and ban the spammer.  It's now all cleaned up.

Are forum accounts linked to sr accounts in some way so forum admins could know who vendors are (automatically)?

That would be nice, but since anyone can register under any name, it's possible that someone unrelated to the vendor could register with the vendor's username here on the forums.  Plus, in order to make sure that a vendor isn't a scammer and isn't LE, we require 35+ transactions of selling illicit goods/services on SR before letting a vendor into the Vendor forum.  If a vendor has 35+ transactions, all that he/she needs to do is send a PM to inigo or one of the other admins and ask to be let in.  The admins will then make the decision.

3658
It was implemented yesterday afternoon/evening, and so far has helped immensely with the bitcointalks/virwex scammers because we're usually able to catch it before they reach 50 posts (which means catching it before they're able to spam the entire forum).

Seriously what the hell?

If you're going to make some bandaid newbie forum at least make it only apply to NEW MEMBERS.

Jesus christ..

Or maybe restrict it to 10 posts? 50 is asking a lot.

This is a crock of shit. I paid to become a vendor and pay my 'vendor tax'. I should have full use of the forum.

The 50 post requirement is necessary in order to give us time to catch and delete spam and spam accounts before they can spam the rest of the forums.  If you are a vendor, you should send a PM to inigo (one of the admins) and ask to be let in to the Vendor Forum.  You have to have 35+ transactions, but once you're in, you should be able to post wherever you want to on the forums.
