I have seen quite a lot of time that btc's were given for just removing spam.
So given by other forum members...That's how it works.
!8 hours each day?
Why not spend 2 hours to figure out how bitcointalk managed to keep te spam scammers from their forum?
This is the fift time I asked this question but You mods never seem to want to answer.
The 50 post for newbee's was the first try from your side.
Keep on trying.
But I will not slip over one single btc for removing spam, because they put a other spam quicker then uou guy's can remove them.
You don't have to do anything about the symphtoms ,but you should do something about the cause.
Ever since bitcointalk have closed their site for spam. It is impossible to post scam spam over there.
Ever since they have done something about the cause this site of Silkroad received the bitcoin scam spam.
If this is the most ridiculous thing you have ever heart, then keep on spending your hours about the symptoms and keep the source cause untouched.
Don't do what bitcointalk.org did, because then we have no more bitcoin scam spam anymore.
And you would miss the occasionally btc that is slipped over every now and then.
Not that you mods are stupid, but let's say that they at bitcointalk.org are just a little bit more smart then you guys
Wouldn't you agree?
I guess not....
Ugh. Look, as I've stated, neither I nor the other mod - samesamebutdifferent - have made a CENT off of deleting the spam. No one here has "slipped over" a btc for it. We do not encourage or ask for btcs to be given for the spam deletion.
You also seem not to realize this, but it is the admins who make the changes / rules here -- NOT THE MODS.
Which current moderator have you seen asking for money to delete the spam? The only moderator that anyone has given btc to here is nomad, and he is no longer a moderator. Even then, I never recall seeing him ask for btc in return for deleting the spam.
These are such ridiculous accusations.
So then you're calling us moderators not as smart as the mods at bitcointalk.org? Why? Moderators on this forum are not in charge of implementing new rules or updating the forum or setting restrictions.
I (and many others, I'm sure) have suggested directly to DPR that the spam prevention could be done much better with a simple restriction on how many posts a new member can make within a certain amount of time. Beyond suggesting it to DPR, there is nothing more we can do. He is the one who has to make the decision and implement those changes. Not moderators -- DPR himself.
