Yep, that's how percentages work.  :D

Are you saying you want to become a vendor here and accept MP as payment for your products/services?  If that's what you're saying, that wouldn't work - unless you are a bitcoin vendor, you cannot accept other forms of payment.  If you did, then those buyers wouldn't be able to use the escrow service  and wouldn't be protected.  And if you, the vendor, were to be scammed, SR support wouldn't be able to do anything to help you because they do not support out-of-escrow dealings.

You're effectively trying to sell a moneypak .... and if you don't have a vendor account, you are not permitted to do so.  Please look on the marketplace for vendors who will accept MPs.  Otherwise, please do not advertise here without a vendor account.

There are several threads about this vendor being a scammer -- that's why it's important to do some research before you choose a vendor!

Did you at least stay in escrow??

I hope when you say "Bless your heart" you're not saying it the same way Southern people do ... hehehe ... when they say that, it's more like "you stupid fuck!"

lol

Anyway, keep hanging in there, guys.  I did message DPR around 9am Pacific Time to let him know what was going on .... haven't heard anything back, but maybe he'll respond later this evening.

Until then, rest assured this is a widespread issue currently, so you're not the only ones experiencing it .... AND none of these deposits or coins will be "lost" no matter how long it takes --- the transactions all show in blockchain so they will all eventually be pushed through.

I'm sorry that I still don't have an update about these issues.  I sent DPR a message this morning to let him know what was going on, and I still hold out hope that he'll respond or be able to fix the issue.

I've also sent a message to the other mod, samesamebutdifferent, to see if he has heard anything.

I definitely think that's the right decision for you right now -- maybe one day you'll be in a good place and feel like you can come back without it making things worse.  Wish you all the best, of course!

I made a withdrawal last night ... took about an hour before it even showed up on blockchain, but it did go through.  I also sent DPR a message today around 11am to let him know about today's withdrawal problems ... haven't heard back.

Bitinstant responded to your question about your deposit by saying they don't have enough to cover your deposit?!!  What the what?

2966
Just give them time to respond to your support request!

From what I've heard, it makes it much easier for the vendor if you give them smaller denomination cards.  (like two $500 MPs rather than one $1k)

Customer support / Re: Deposit not in account, blockchain confirmed

Done.  Thanks.

A couple questions I just thought of:
1.  When I withdraw funds from Mt. Gox to here, should i check "Open Transaction (6 Confirmations)" or not?
2.  When logging into Mt. Gox, I use plain Firefox because it's faster than Tor, and I figured it wouldn't make a difference.  Should I be using Tor or does it not matter?

Do NOT use Tor with Mt Gox -- they can and will lock your account if you access it through Tor.

It depends -- if it is a system-wide issue, then it'll all be fixed at once.  If, however, some people's deposits are coming through, then the support team may need to hear from those whose deposits are still missing just so they know what accounts to look at.

lol ... no, your conspiracy theory isn't correct because i got the message last night and never even reported that things were slow.

everything will be okay --- no need to pull out the tinfoil hats.  :D
