What?  Seriously?  When a seller is banned for scamming people and breaking rules, the money was NOT "made by the rules of SR" ... they were BREAKING the rules and scamming people in order to earn that money.  Money made by scamming people and not sending out a product is not money that belongs to the seller.  This is why you should NEVER finalize early ... because if you're still in escrow when a scammer is banned, then you will receive a refund because that money belongs to the buyer who never received what they ordered.

in this case, what i read, is that he was banned for making a bussiness outside of SR, receiving the payment by WU.. so, the money that he got on his account, the 127 bitcoins, were made selling 'legally' by the rules of the SR.. his only mistake was to accept WU payment, right?

i haven't read that he is a scammer.. if he is, soz for this, but do you got my point scout?

No, that is not right -- SR rules plainly and clearly state that you are not permitted to deal outside of the escrow system which is in place to protect both buyers and sellers.  Look, all I know is that the staff investigated and determined there was reason to ban his account.  That's as much as I know about the details.  Inigo mentioned that there was more to the story.

If your funds are showing on blockchain, then they will get to you.  Give it more time.

having faith in sr was eh...foolish in my eyes. WAY to high risk. i think most people are like me and keep coins off site as the possibility of SR becoming compromised is to high....its still a bitch though and FUCKED UP. sr stole $50 from me too. during that crazy omg im rich crysis. yes i spent money i didnt think i had...fuck i thought zip zap fucked up and GAVE me the money....blah blah blah your not getting refunded losses caused by cancelled hedged orders..like it was my fault...fuck that if money shows up in your bankacount mysteriously your telling me you wouldnt spend it FAST? i know this hails in comparison....but i hope they do refund the money

So you're complaining because you spent bitcoins that weren't yours and then they canceled your order?  Seriously?  You realize that otherwise, the vendor you purchased from would have been effectively scammed out of the cost of your order, right?  It's not called "stealing" when SR expects you to pay vendors for the orders you place with ACTUAL bitcoins that BELONG TO YOU.

You can avoid receiving these messages by setting your forum preferences NOT to show when you are online.

You don't get refunds if you FE or otherwise place an order outside of escrow.  If, however, you stayed in escrow, then, yes, you would receive a refund.

Tell the truth and be honest with you?  I'm pretty sure inigo did exactly that.  He posted honestly about why they made the decision to ban SamGiancana's vendor account.  Furthermore, I received several messages last night stating that SamGiancana was continuing to try to sell via messages, which is also clearly against the rules.   :\

Also, for these accusations about SR "knowing" someone is a scammer and "letting them buy new accounts again and again" -- that's impossible.  There is no way to prove someone is a scammer until they have scammed people ... and even then, it's not always possible to know if they had previously had an account under a different name.  There's no way SR would allow a known scammer to create more accounts to scam people.  If SR knew someone was a scammer, they would ban them.

Also, make sure you use the "report vendor" button on SR to report this clown.  If enough people do that, SR Support will investigate and hopefully ban him before even more can be scammed.
