Silk Road discussion / Re: Da fuq is up with Blockchain.info?

Missing from blockchain after purchasing them, or missing from your SR wallet?  One would be an issue with blockchain, and the other would be an issue with things moving slowly at SR today.

Glad to hear they're coming through!  Sometimes things move slowly, but you will always receive your bitcoins.

It's running slowly right now -- you WILL get your bitcoins, but you may have to wait several hours.

if you didnt finalize you shouldnt be stressing at all how can you tell when a user is down forever?

Yep, this is true.  No reason to stress if you stayed in escrow, as advised.  Also, I think they're referring to sourdieselman's vendor profile where he posted that he's "down forever" ...

I'm sure that they are aware there's an issue, but you can go ahead and send SR Support a message over on the marketplace site.

As always, if you are missing a deposit or withdrawal after several hours, you need to send a message on the main market site to SR Support so they can look into it for you.

If he didn't ship it, what's the problem?  You did stay in escrow, right?

And the transaction does show up on blockchain, correct?  If so, send SR Support a message on the main site and let them know what's going on.  They'll look into it for you.

A few hours and at least six or seven confirmations.

2351
These times aren't that unusual -- it often takes several hours to receive coins into a wallet like SR's or BMR's because they have to wait for 6-7 network confirmations ... and that usually takes a few hours.

2352
It can take several hours.  Is it showing up in blockchain when you look up the receiving address?

Technical support / Re: SR Vendor Inquiry Regarding Forum Info

You need to PM inigo here on the forums to request access.

Ah thats good then. PrincessHIGH seemed to think differently. Hope its sorted soon cheers

I'm not sure why she said that - it's true that I can't take action over on SR myself, but I absolutely do report to DPR and inigo daily there and here.  As for figuring this out, unfortunately bitcoin transactions like these do not happen in escrow, and so are not supported by SR.  What that means is, if someone IS scammed, there is no hope of getting payment returned (in part because the buyer is not paying in btc when they're buying btc ... and that the only action that can be taken is if Support investigates the vendor after multiple complaints and decides he/she is a scammer.

Other than that, SR Support doesn't provide support for these transactions.
