Scout, do you know of an anonymous way of getting bitcoin ? For some reason im having real trouble with all this. I was using Ukash via mercabit but theyre away. Im based in the UK

thanks

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with the vendors or exchanges for use in the UK, but I'm sure if you did a search you'd find some good recommendations from others in the UK.  Best of luck and be very careful!  Make sure that once you find a possible vendor to use you also forum search their name to make sure there aren't already reports of scams.

Unused accounts with stolen information.  The "victim" would not know anything about the accounts.  You can't make one of these yourself without stolen SSN, full address, DL, full background check, and in some cases credit report.  Not easy things to come by.  We would do all the work.

Okay, then you've answered your own question -- you cannot sell stolen information or stolen identities here.  That is a horrible, horrible thing to do to someone.  :-\

PS- I believe a mod can lock an inappropriate thread, no? ;D

Yes.  Like ones in which an individual is being a danger to himself and everyone around him!

Hey Scout, by the way ive been lurking on these forums for about 7 months and have noticed how informative you are. So thanks man you've saved me from a few scams.

Glad to hear it, SKRILLEX!  Watching for scams is like being a detective ... but the good, helpful kind that thinks people should be free to ingest whatever they like!  :D

That's not true at all.  Just last week we got a bitcoin scammer "BitcoinBillionaires" banned ... just make it clear when you are using the "report this vendor" link on the vendor's profile that you are not trying to get money back, you're just trying to report a scammer.

The captchas are annoying at times, but there's really no way around them until you have the post count.  Sorry.  :(

i buy a lot for .01 a gram!! still got it?

Dude, first of all, remove your god damn location from your forum profile, stop asking people to meetup with you in Florida, and take a step back to do some research before you make a purchase.  You've already stated that you've been busted many times -- learn some basic security measures!

Are you serious?  You want to meetup with other SR users in Florida?  Yeah, okay, please make sure you extend the invitation to LE.  Oh, wait, they already read these forums so I'm sure they'll be the first to arrive!

all of it too hard i dont even understand bitcoin program can someone in florida just come to me?

Wow.  Just wow.  Suddenly it is no surprise why you have been busted so many times.

Listen kid, its more than evident that you are not a drug dealer and never will be. Please for your health and safety , just give up your dismal dope dealing dreams.

EDIT; Can some one meet up with you?!? LMFAO.. golly, I wish i was a mod 8)

Lol.  Very good advice for the OP.  As for wishing you were a mod ... we're not allowed to ban dumb people or delete stupid posts ... so we should wish that we were admins!  :D

If you haven't received them in 12 hours from sending them, then you'll need to contact SR Support on the main site.

Blockchain wallets no longer include anonymous transactions...

Actually, they added it back and are calling it "Shared Send" ... same concept though: btc go into a public pool.

There's nothing SR Support can do in these situations with bitcoin scammers other than to ban them.  When you buy btc on SR, it is inevitably a transaction taking place outside of the escrow system, and therefore outside of the protection of SR.  It's just like FE'ing in that if you are scammed, there's nothing SR can do for you to get your money back.  All they can do is ban the scammer.

They have a daily limit of $1000 per person, and $500 per transaction.  They also state that they will not refund your fees if you go over this limit, so don't expect that.  In fact, expect for them to be pretty damn frustrated at how blatantly you broke their rules.  The reason you are only seeing half is because the other 2 transactions are now stuck in their fraud filter, so you will have to get in touch with them directly to push them through.

If it makes you feel any better, I waited just as long to be let back into my account as well, and neither inigo nor DPR had any idea what could have happened to lock me out.  I use a LiveCD and have a computer only for SR - I memorized the URL about a year ago, I never download anything, and my password is unguessable ... but this is the 2nd time it has happened and no one knows why.

So, in some of these cases, it's not a matter of forgetting the password - I certainly didn't forget mine.

But I do agree with samesamebutdifferent in that you need to learn to be patient and understanding about the time it takes for a response - the team is always dealing with issues as quickly as they are able to, but it's a small team and I can only imagine the huge number of messages they receive every day!
