Silk Road discussion / Re: Okay to use Privnote once?

No.  You'll get pregnant and then you'll die.
ahahahahahahaha. yes, that.

Privnote cant be any more dangerous then sending it unencrypted
Well, continuing from the above analogy, using Privnote is akin to using pinholed condoms.
The illusion of protection is NOT better.
At least if you throw caution to the winds and say, "Eh, I'll take the chance," you know when to sit there counting days on the calendar.

Hahaha, but really, it's a good analogy.  I would actually rather use cleartext than to use privnote.  Better yet, if a vendor told me he couldn't use PGP and wanted privnote, I'd find another vendor.

What was the reason they gave you for giving you only a 50% refund?

You'll need to create a new account and from there send a message to SR Support to have them reset your password.

Trying restarting Tor.

If that doesn't change anything, then get in touch with SR Support on the main site.

Technical support / Re: BitInstant Trouble

Sorry, I'd rather not make any recommendations because I would feel horrible if anyone was then unhappy or if the business then went downhill like Bitinstant!  Basically, the best thing you can do is search the names of these places here and on the clearweb before choosing one.

Yes, some people are still missing coins from weeks ago.  Their support is terrible.

Went ahead and sent Vendor Support a link to this thread just as a heads up, so they're aware if things start going bad.

Some people are still waiting on their coins from bitinstant from weeks ago.  Have a look at the threads on bitcointalk.

Chaos, how about you give it another thought & change the thread title?  We cleared this up and at this point it's nothing but FUD to leave it as-is...
Scout said it was fine, as I said, what do you suggest?
If I don't have a suggestion then I can't change it. Not a very imaginative person.
SS what do you suggest?
Chaos

I said it was fine only after you seemed annoyed that I asked you to consider changing it.  Thank you for changing it.

You need 50 posts, as Aussie bob mentioned.  Locking this thread now.

I don't spend much time there, so I can't recall off the top of my head, but there is a long, long thread where people still haven't gotten their coins after weeks of waiting.
