That's a good question - I know that when vendors are banned, they can no longer move any BTC around from their wallet ... but I'm not sure if they can, for instance, still access their messages.

Did you stay in escrow?  If so, you should be able to hit the "resolve" link to request your refund.

You will need to wait the stated amount of time.  There is no way to get around this - and it is actually for the safety of your account.

Not sure what is going on with this.  All I know is that if they've looked into it and the vendor is still selling, then they must not have been able to prove without a doubt that he is scamming people.  Yet.
I mean there is also the fact that its only been a few days of his real scamming spree and DPR could just be busy.

Exactly.  Having a suspicion that someone is a scammer is not enough to get them banned.  DPR and staff need actual proof before they ban them.  (and they are always incredibly busy, so I know they are doing all they can.)

I'm not sure if you can tell after it is ordered ... I know you can tell when you add the item to your cart though.

Someone in another thread mentioned adding extra carriage returns in your feedback / review on the listing -- that way, it makes it extra long and draws people's attention to the review so they know the person is a scammer!

Just an idea.  :)

malinche: put a link to this thread in your feedback.  you can use carriage returns and make your feedback very long, which will help people to notice it anyway.

That is a GREAT idea, slirp!  Particularly because not everyone reads the forums before buying -- but most do read the reviews!
