Bug reports / Re: No reply button?
« on: April 25, 2013, 07:45 pm »
The requirement is due to the bitcoin spammers.  Requiring 50 posts gives us a little time to see the posts and delete them before they are able to flood the main forums with their spam.

Newbie discussion / Re: feedback for my products

I don't know whoz "stanley barns" and why he posted all that bullshit here..I do not accept any orders through email and neither I accept payments through WU or MG. I accept orders only on SR and only through bitcoins..

It is still incredibly unsafe to post your gmail address here and encourage people to contact you using it.  You should remove that from your forum profile asap.

Customer support / Re: hacked account please help
« on: April 25, 2013, 07:25 pm »
You'll need to create a new account and then send a message to SR Support.  Let them know what's going on and they'll ask you some questions and reset your password.

Send a message here:

silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/help

Scroll to the bottom and there's a link.

« on: April 25, 2013, 07:23 pm »
Can you give any further details about what you were doing when you received this error?

Are you talking about looking at blockchain.info, or do you really mean that your account history on SR shows it was withdrawn?

Don't let it autofinalize - report the vendor and then also take your order to resolution in order to request a refund.

It was a pretty nice transition. I felt like I accomplished my goal. Thanks for your continued support scout.

I still don't like authority figures, but you ain't half bad bud!  :P

Glad to see GL has finally admitted to being PL.  :P

I asked you about this directly when GL first appeared and you insisted it wasn't you.  lol.  Anyway, it has been well known from the beginning and not a problem - vendors who are banned are always allowed to create a new account and start fresh.

abtdt5u64rk2pvj.onion = SCAM

abtdt5u64rk2pvj.onion.to = SCAM + Having your IP monitored.

Just don't.

This.  There seems to be an influx of new members who see nothing wrong with browsing / posting from the .to url.  Do not do this, people!  It's for your own safety!

I would seriously, seriously doubt that it is in any way "legit" ...

Technical support / Re: SR Down / Slow
« on: April 24, 2013, 03:05 pm »
I think your customers will understand what's going on.  The login page for SR explains that SR is down and links people to DPR's maintenance thread.  :)

Security / Re: I just purchased bitcoins directly from the FBI!
« on: April 24, 2013, 02:47 pm »
It's fine.  Buying bitcoins isn't illegal.  Sites have to ask for ID over a certain amount unless they want to get shut down.

UPDATE (04/24/2013 0714 UTC): The downtime of the past couple days, and especially the past 24 hours has been confirmed to be due to a deliberate attack from what appears to be an individual.  There appears to be no security breach, only disruption of availability.  The attack appears to be DoS in nature and is likely an exploit at the Tor network level.  The site will be down or very slow until a solution can be found, which we will work tirelessly to find.  Thank you for your patience.

Thanks for the update.
