I've had this issue before - a few times, it was just a matter of restarting tor with a new identity.  Other times, something happened in the system to mess things up and I was inadvertently locked out of my accounts.  SR Support had to reset the password for me.

If you continue receiving the same "Login failed" error after restarting tor, trying a new identity, and carefully ensuring that your password is typed correctly, then you'll want to follow these steps:

1.  create a new account on SR
2.  from that new account, send a message to SR Support from the link at the bottom of the following page:  http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/help
3.  let SR Support know that you're getting the "Login failed" error with your primary account and that you need them to reset the password
4.  answer whatever questions they have to determine the primary account does indeed belong to you

You'll probably need to let them know details of your last btc deposit into that account to help prove it belongs to you.

If you don't remember the address it was sent to, then it's not something you can look up yourself.  In fact, I'm not sure if SR Support can help either, but if anyone can it would be them.  Try contacting them from the link at the bottom of the following page:

No, forum moderators no longer work for free.

Is that your vendor account?  You might want to consider putting a link to your vendor profile in your forum signature.

As everyone has already mentioned, just make sure you practice good stealth!  I would guess that there are a lot of orders going out to student housing / dorms / frats / sororities without the vendor knowing (or caring) - nothing inherently wrong with shipping to those places, just make sure you have good safety practices and good packaging too.  You should be fine!

Great idea, Libertas!

SR has been up and running pretty smoothly, as far as I'm aware.  It might be prudent not to leave it to the last day before deciding to finalize or take it to resolution - this would help you avoid the same issue in the future.

As soon as it starts getting close to autofinalization, you should decide what to do - in most cases, you'd want to take it to resolution, even if only to ask for an extension.

Alright will do. Just kinda freaking out since this is my first deposit. Thanks for the help

We're just getting past some major delays, so it's not unreasonable to expect that it might not still be back at full speed quite yet.

I think he's just saying he wants to get lucky and make "thousands" just as easily again.

Please make sure to use the "report this vendor" link on the vendor's profile, too!  It will help alert the admins about his scamming.

Nevermind it's confirmed now but still not in my account  :-\

Give it more time - it will show up!  If it doesn't, you can send SR Support a message, but it's best to give it several hours.

Yea it showed up on blockchain and I did it at 2:22 AM but I think I figured it out. When I scrolled over it, it said 5 of 6 confirmations so I'm guessing I'm just waiting for the last confirmation?

That's correct - it needs 6 confirmations before it will show up, and hopefully there aren't any delays.

How long ago did you initiate the deposit?  Does it show up on blockchain.info when you put your SR wallet address in the search field?

I'm sorry to hear that you were scammed.  Unfortunately, there's nothing that SR can do for you in this case.  We always recommend that you stay in escrow and do not finalize early.  The escrow system is in place for your protection!

Glad you changed your password and PIN!  It's important to remember that SR will NEVER ask for your PIN at login.
