« on: May 10, 2013, 01:38 am »
Please send a message on SR to Vendor Support: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/messages/send_message/8fe7b43324

Let them know about the issue -- they'll look into it and make sure you receive what you are due!

I think SR is really dropping the ball on this one. Give him a couple more days to make good? Really? Didnt you say he has since cancelled your order after cashing the MP? smh How many times do people need to get ripped off before they implement something like the exchange on BMR?

The problem - I think - is that since SR cannot offer support or protection for BTC-buying transactions (like this one), they can't really use it as "proof" that a vendor is scamming people.  Before they can ban a vendor, they have to have proof that he is scamming people, and I'm not sure if they consider "proof" from a transaction that they already have clearly stated they do NOT offer support for.

Not sure, but I'm still hoping they will ban him if multiple people have been scammed.

Newbie discussion / Re: Shipping Security Question
« on: May 10, 2013, 01:13 am »
It's also possible that they realize something was amiss since when previous tenants receive mail, it's not usually in the form of a personal shipment / parcel.  Usually, the mail for previous tenants consists of junk mail, previous subscriptions, bills, etc. - so when a priority mail or whatever other shipping service has a package addressed to the previous tenants, it's a bit sketchy looking.  It's much better simply to use your real name and address.  What you're trying to do is make the package look as normal and boring as possible so it doesn't stand out.  Ordering with your real name and address ALSO provides you the benefit of plausible deniability because anyone can order drugs and have them shipped to you.  It's a little harder to argue when it's in the form of a random package addressed to the previous tenant!

Also, most vendors will not agree to reship or refund UNLESS you have used your correct information - including your real name and real address.

I assume since it was a small amount of LSD it was just sent with an envelope. Not sure though...
Definitely not making this mistake again  :-\

I've heard of LSD being shipped/packaged several different ways and some do involve more than just an envelope.  Nonetheless, you should be fine - even if you get a knock, there's no way to prove you yourself ordered it, so just be calm, don't talk to LE, and if necessary, make sure your place is pretty clean just in case.  I don't think you'll have them busting down your door for a small order of LSD though.  Also, you could always consider ordering LSD from a domestic source -- you avoid at least one issue (customs) that way.

Hang tight though - you may not get your order, but I also doubt that you'll have any problems with LE.

nice one lads  ;)

I think I may have annoyed the hell out of SR Support this past week though ... must've sent upwards of a dozen or so messages as more info came in.  Poor inigo was probably buried by "MORE INFO ON SAMGIANCANA" messages.  lol.

Customer support / Re: Dodgy Australian Vendor
« on: May 10, 2013, 12:53 am »
You'll need to wait the usual period of time and then take it to the resolution center if/when you don't receive it.  At that point, if it still hasn't arrived, you can request a refund and the resolution center will look into the specific details and determine how to proceed.  As long as you have stayed in escrow with your payment, you should be fine.

Dang, I had just placed an order to a couple hours ago. While my funds were delayed for over 24 hours. I had lost 300 dollars due to the btc value going down. Not really sure what to do. I hit the contact support on the bottom of SR. And pointed them to this thread. I guess it's my role to be bad luck brian this week lol.

You placed an order, but you didn't finalize yet, correct?  Just don't finalize .... hopefully albion can regain control of his account soon.  As long as you stay in escrow and do not finalize, you should be fine!

I should make that into a haiku.

Understood, but you said in your OP that you hoped it would get the attention of mods ... so I was also just saying if there's ever something you guys need from us, the fastest / best way to get our attention is by message.  :)

In the meantime, I went ahead and got in touch directly with Vendor Support and let them know ... I don't know if they're online right this second, but I'm hoping they'll get to address it for albion soon!

But, yeah, it's a great idea to warn as many people as possible NOT to finalize early / release funds until the account has been returned to albion.

I just saw him mention this in some random thread.  Guys, if you need to get in touch with us, send us a message!  We don't always get to read every single post made throughout the day, so if there is something urgent going on like this, don't just post about it - at least send one of us a message so we can pass it up to staff ASAP!

Today I was browsing the site checking out some shit I might want when all of a sudden instead of bringing me to the drugs I clicked on it brought me to the log in page but I assumed it was a phishing attempt or something. Needless to say I didnt fall for it but watch out!

im not sure but i dont think this is a phishing attempt, this has been happening to lots of people and there are posts about it in the main section. I think its only a phishing attempt when it asks for your pin number.

Popping in to reassure you all that when you get logged out at random and are brought back to the login page, it is NOT a phishing attempt.  We're getting randomly logged off due to some changes DPR had to make to the server during the attacks.  DPR and staff are aware of the issue.  For the time being, as long as the following url is the one showing up when you're taken to the login screen, you are fine to login:
