Security / Re: bitswing.com ? Real ?

It's a scam.

I'm confused - I thought edar = joolz ...

Also, it's important to note that a vendor asking people to FE is not always proof of that vendor being a scammer.  Granted, no one should be finalizing until they have received their order and are happy with it, but a vendor simply asking people to FE doesn't mean that they are necessarily scamming.

Unless there's something else to the story other than the vendor requesting FE?

How long ago did you initiate the deposit?  It usually takes 6 confirmations so usually 1-2 hours on a good day when things are working smoothly.

Newbie discussion / Re: Logging in to site
« on: May 15, 2013, 07:42 pm »
When I try to log in to the site I get the following:

"The form you submitted has been reported for abuse and we have disabled it. The information you entered has been discarded to protect you.

Your form submission was processed by FormMail (8.36), a PHP script available from www.tectite.com. "

Can someone help?

Hm, I haven't heard of that error before, but I'm assuming you're getting it because you're at a phishing URL and not the real SR URL.  The correct url is:

silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

Always make sure that is the url you're using!

EDIT:
Also, you'll probably want to change your password and PIN if you entered them at any url other than silkroadvb5piz3r.onion.

Did you use the "report this vendor" link to report the scam?

561
Also, make sure you change your feedback to warn others!

562
Yeah, a vendor getting a real virus from LE? The mail goes the other way, dude.

I giggled.

563
I would encourage you to report the vendor, or at the very least, his listing for this!

Silk Road discussion / Re: Need advice

Order in question in mine. I sent out several messages that all said "please finalize" to users whom I confirmed via tracking had packages delivered. I will only provide tracking to SR support during resolution. 3 days? Thats pretty long for priority, also not considering everyone else whos package was mailed at the same time as yours, has already received the package. I apologize but I fulfilled my end of the deal, and I am not responsible for lost packages after they are delivered. I'm a no nonsense vendor, and after the third "oh sorry, I have the package, my roommate grabbed it" after I said I have tracking, wears you down.

This is why I hate drop locations.

3 days is NOT long for priority mail!  I've had a priority package take a week to get to someone.

Regardless, the buyer has every right to take the order to the resolution center if he doesn't receive it and should not be pressured into finalizing early.

On a good day it will take at least 6 confirmation on Blockchain.info.

Some times much longer. Wait 24 hours before contacting any one about your missing funds.

As I mentioned, you'll want to take it to resolution ASAP!  Have you done it yet?
