Okay, well, if you'd like to post a thread, you can send me the link and I'll move it for you.

This should not be possible if you are being safe.  You shouldn't be using your real return address, and people don't just "guess" at a phone number successfully unless they have clues pointing them to it.  It is slightly concerning because somehow you provided info enough either here or privately to the buyer that allowed his mother to track you down.  Again, this really shouldn't be happening if you're taking your security seriously.

Here is what the wiki says:

Quote from: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Vendor_roundtable
The Vendor roundtable is a private message board on the Silk Road forum for vendors to discuss issues in private. To qualify for access to the board, you must meet the following requirements:

You must have received a bond refund.
Your forum username must be identical to your vendor username
You must keep a link to your vendor page in your forum signature

When you've met these criteria, message Vendor Support and they will give you access.

I see. Would you mind if I posted a new product offering here and you moved it to the correct forum?

If we did that, you wouldn't be able to answer questions or respond to any of the posts.

How the hell did his mother get your phone number?  :-\

Can you provide a link to Sugar Mama's vendor profile?  I'm having a difficult time finding it on SR.

He changed the process.  You now need to send a message to Vendor Support over on SR itself.

Customer support / Re: another hacked vendor account
« on: May 16, 2013, 10:56 pm »
Hello my vendor account marthastewart has been hacked. I wasn't fished in any way. It has to be a problem on SR. I was able to open another account to contact sr staff but no way someone found my passphrase. Way to many people this is happening to right now. I will keep people updated

Like Libertas, I saw the update and would like to know when that warning was posted on your profile.

Furthermore, people keep saying their accounts have been "hacked" when they have in fact provided their password and PIN to a phishing site, or had admittedly weak passwords / PINs.  This is not hacking - this is failure to protect the most sensitive information guarding your account.

Please update us on how that "Account pass phrase was hacked. Please do not finalize until problem is worked out with SR" update was posted to your vendor profile if you're currently locked out.

Yeah, to reiterate what Libertas said regarding the bond, you've only been a vendor for 19 days, so you don't yet qualify for the vendor bond refund.

520
Get in touch with bitinstant support.  They're the only ones who can help you, but you should have already received it, I would think.

521
I would have posted a direct link for you, but I'm currently having issues getting SR to load.

522
dont you think this would just increase scammin on the site.....

Yes, it absolutely could, but we aren't the ones who make the rules.

Silk Road discussion / Re: How to sell vendor account
« on: May 16, 2013, 04:58 pm »
From what inigo and DPR said, it has actually always been permitted by them.  I didn't think it was because I remember past moderators telling people it was prohibited to sell vendor accounts ... so I used to say that as well until I finally clarified with inigo / DPR and was told it was never prohibited.

Thanks for the clarification, scout! Though I could've sworn I read in the original Seller's contract back in early 2012 that sale of SR accounts was not permitted.. Hmmm.. Maybe I'm just getting too old!! :-X

I was under the same impression (and was a vendor myself for awhile) but apparently I was wrong.  :(

was going to answer, but you're specifically asking Libertas?  you could always send him a PM if you have a question that you only want his answer on.

Security / Re: Private messaging vendors
« on: May 16, 2013, 04:53 pm »
To clarify - staff can access and read messages when it is necessary to do so during an investigation of scamming or abuse or order issues.  Even deleted messages.

If you want your message only to be read by the vendor, you will need to encrypt it specifically to their PGP key.
