DO NOT USE ONION.TO ... it is a proxy which allows you to browse .onion sites without using Tor.  What that means is that whoever runs onion.to has access to your IP address and associated activity here.

No problem!  GPGTools was in fact recently updated to work natively with Mail in Mountain Lion! :)

Yes, check out GPGTools!

Here's the relevant link for the SR wiki regarding PGP for Mac:

I've just sent off a message to the other mods and admins to see if we can maybe post a thread and sticky it to help warn people NOT to visit that site ...

Hmmmm ... we can't sticky threads until we've received permission to do so, so let me pass this along to my fellow mods and the admins and see what we can do about getting a warning up here!

No problems with Bitcoin Fog since... very late 2011 or early 2012.

Support:

You'll need to create an account to log in to contact them, I think.

Thanks for posting the direct link - I wasn't able to access it right now, so that's very helpful!

Yeah, someone reported this last week as well but I was never able to find a "Sugar Mama BTC" or any combination of those words ... can someone post a link?

Customer support / Re: Vendor stats?
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:24 pm »
Yeah, there's no way to see vendor stats other than during that time, as far as I'm aware.  Lib will get an answer for sure though.

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of reports about that message.  It's safest for everyone to avoid going to that site.

You nailed it scout! That sounds pretty sketchy for sure. Maybe you should start a new sticky thread telling people not to visit that link!

sadly, we can't sticky threads without all agreeing on it and getting permission from DPR, but i've sent off a message to the other mods and admins about the situation.  maybe we'll be able to get a thread up.  in the meantime, if i am not around to catch it, people should help each other by passing the "DON'T VISIT THAT SITE!" message along!

Yes, many people received this.  Don't visit the site.  Just ignore the message completely.

Since you're on Tor, I would assume you're okay -- I'd be more worried about the site trying to record your IP ... but again, you're using Tor, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about this will chime in, and if not, you might get more reassurance by starting a new thread about it.

But, yes, this is usually the kind of thing that happens when you try to help people.  lol.  Shit happens like this all the time to me (paying for trying to help).  Welcome to the club.  ;)

Customer support / Re: Wrong package, vendor disappears
« on: May 21, 2013, 06:41 pm »
You need to take it to the resolution center.  It doesn't mean you're accusing the vendor of scamming you, but you definitely don't want it to autofinalize on you.  Click resolve and work with staff & the vendor to come to an agreement there.
