I opened a new tab and tried again and it worked. which is strange because I had done that during my first lot of login attempts and that had failed. Obviously it's just an undocumented design feature that is there as an obstacle to make sure we're together enough to use the site
I have been trying to get in for the last 20 minutes and it first of all came up with the 3 letter captcha and now gives me the 8 letters but won't accept my details. I get "Login failed, please try again"
first time I've had it happen like this, usually after a couple of attempts it lets me in but not this time.
I have trouble logging onto Silk Road. The site posts that it's down for maintenance. BUT when I log in a new name and password no problems. What's up with this? To make things more complicated, I placed an order with norcalking for some weed and it hasn't arrived. The order page says it's being processed. Am I being scammed? tcbagby

Unless you were speaking of someone else, Then i guess u feel the same about Motek and his situation, and the other members posting about vendors threating buyers with black mail and etc..

this started happening a few weeks back and when it first started, it really upset me. now that it is still happening, it's less bothersome because it proves there is nothing behind it other than some asshole(s) who are just negging the hell out of a bunch of people here.
don't let it get to you too much - know that it's happening to a LARGE number of members here, including inigo and DPR themselves. this should tell you that it's nothing personal and nothing you did or said - it's just someone (or multiple someones - who knows!) with too much time on their hands and not enough medication.
