No, if the vendor had been banned, you'd just get dropped directly into a page with an empty text box to send them a message.  No profile or listings or feedback or info would show other than that. 

So, looking at it, they definitely haven't been banned, but I *do* see that they haven't been on at all in the last 12 days.  Not sure what that's about, but I replied to your PM by recommending that you go ahead and request a refund in the resolution center before it autofinalizes on you.

if it's just taking you to a blank message page, then either he has been banned or they are investigating complaints of scamming.

did you finalize early, or are you still in escrow?

How long ago did you initiate the transfer?  It usually takes 1-2 hours before they'll show up in your SR wallet.

oops!  Sorry - I just re-read your message and saw that you mentioned it's been an hour.  Anyway, to reiterate - there's no need to worry, it won't show up until there have been 6 confirmations on the network, and each confirmation usually takes ~10 minutes.

If you haven't received them in a few hours from now, then you'll want to consider opening a support ticket on SR with SR Support.

When you are a "public servant" with your information all over the internet and press, you can't expect to have any anonymity.  They chose the high profile job.  They chose not to be anonymous.  We choose to be anonymous.  Their anonymity hasn't been protected since they took their job as a as a law enforcement officer.  Your argument is invalid this time Lib.

I CC'ed DPR on the situation before Libertas took care of it, but I think he will support what Libertas has already said. 

My gut feeling is that this is not permitted.

I understand your point, but I would think this falls under the "do not post anyone's personal information!" rule ... still, I won't do anything until I've heard back from Libertas and/or SSBD about how they think it should be handled.
