there is no ip trace in the bitcoin network.

sr tumble the coin on differents wallet.

wallet are anonymouse.

if it's possible, it's really difficult, nearly impossible, to track down a btc from sr to a real person.

It's not impossible to track, but it would be quite difficult to prove.

92
Keep in mind that SR has a built-in bitcoin tumbler to help increase anonymity.

93
I passed the info up to SR Support so they can look into it.

It will take 1-2 hours for them to show up here, and will need at least 6 confirmations.  In short, yes, you just need to wait longer and you have not "just thrown away money" -- it will show up! :)

Pretty sure most of us realized this, but thank you for your honest post here.

Not sure, but definitely message him and see if that's how he sent it.

97
Does he ship with signature required?  I wouldn't recommend signing for an SR package - especially if the vendor does not usually send it with signature required.

So I messaged a top 1% vendor about a custom $1000 order, and he told me to remind him to set up a custom listing the next day. I reminded him the next day, he saw the message but didn't reply. I reminded him again the day after that and then he replied "I think it's better you send the coins to my account and give me your address". He wanted me to just send the money directly to his account, isn't this shady as fuck? Which is very weird considering he's top 1%.

Yes, that's pretty shady.  :\

what the account of the vendor site, i dont have enough money to open for the vendor yet but yes my cannaconnection1 forum name works.

There is nothing wrong with SR right now - if you try to access the link I provided, there's no reason it shouldn't be working.

Is this your vendor account: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/73518274d2

No, that is not the OP's vendor account.  The OP doesn't have a vendor account and is currently asking people to help fund it.  :\

Yeah, it's a total scam and, as you mentioned, the signature doesn't check out.
