2. At the shopping cart checkout your actual addy is given? I thought this was all PGP??
The checkout does say to include your address "as it would be on an envelope," but you should ALWAYS encrypt it with PGP in the box provided.

But to clarify, that is just what the shopping cart says regardless of the item being purchased ... however, it does NOT mean that you should provide ANY personal information when what you are ordering is a digital item.  There is NO REASON for a vendor to need that information.

so i ordered my stuff MAY 31st from a top % vendor... it was shipped JUNE 3RD. and has been "in transit" ever since. Is this common or am i being jerked around? this is my first order on SR.

Your order will remain "in transit" until you manually finalize the order after receiving it.

1.  no, if it's a digital item there is NO REASON to include ANY personal information.  not your name, not your address, and not your email address.

2.  if you want to encrypt your address, you need to do it manually when you are placing an order.

Newbie discussion / Re: VENDOR ACCOUNT WAS STOLEN
« on: June 08, 2013, 11:54 pm »
I just got out of jail and my password is changed!!! My boyfriend got me arrested for something completely stupid because he swears that he smelled another mans ass on my dick when I came home late and when I got out of jail he wasn't at our apartment and my password is changed! He is the only other person who had the password and pin to my vendor account! What do I need to do!!!!

WTF?

also, you'll need to create a new account on SR and then from that account, send a message to Vendor Support explaining the situation.  provide as much info as you can to prove that the account in question belongs to you.

The inconsistencies make no sense,  and rings my warning bells. I might be wrong and my sincerest apologies (I will also apologise on this thread) to CannaConnection if I am, however I always believe it's better to be safe than sorry.

^ this x1000.  also, judging by some other recent issues with people who offered samples and then blackmailed the people who provided their info, it's always better to accept "Free sample" offers from people who at least already have a vendor account.

He was going to change his vendor name to "Cali Connect" and claims that he didn't know "caliconnect" was already a vendor.  So now I guess he has changed his vendor name again ... yet still doesn't have an actual vendor account and was begging for people to help fund it in another thread.

Why ANYONE would take a chance on this "free sample" offer is beyond me.

I think just about everyone that I have seen that has been phished or had their computer infected has denied being phished or having their computer infected. ::)

Yeah, and then there are always those who think the PIN has to be 4 numbers ... it needs to be alphanumeric and strong, just like the password should be.

I'm sorry that your btc was transferred out, OP.  :(

68
WTF? NO phishing adress! The SR Adress is bookmarked and I click only this Bookmark! So that means the Coin is stolen?

If it wasn't a phishing address, then it sounds as though someone has your password and PIN ... that's the only way they'd be able to transfer bitcoins out of your account.

69
I'm guessing you must have logged in via a phishing site at some point.  Please make sure that you are accessing SR from the correct url:

silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

If you still have access to your account, change the password and PIN asap.

Nice try, FF/IS/C4.

Jeezuz Christ do you guys not see the REDandblue FLAGS?!!?

i feel like there are flags of every color here.

To be honest im not sure, i guess..

I just remember a while back someone here posted a statement from a up and coming new marketplace, and their intentions, and all that kinda stuff to promote it..

i have no idea if this is the one that was mention months back or not.. but it looks like shit!! and has NOTHING worth even going to the site for.. lol

I know nothing about Deepbay but in their defense, it is BRAND new.  They did come to this forum to advertise the other day though which is pretty lame. ::)

Yeah, I think I remember seeing that several vendors received messages from someone at Deepbay, trying to get them to register as vendors there.

73
so i basically just cleared up all of my legal situation. i was in there for only half a month. once i got out i tried logging into my vendor account to get things rolling again. and im banned? anyway to resolve this issue. please help!!!

Wrong black market, buddy.
