I'm sure the rumor mill will be created when the market place is launched. Right now we cant really discuss SR Vendors as there is none vending on our site  :P

I have spoken to DPR in regards to making 2 auto finalizing times. 1 for domestic and 1 for international. For example 8 days domestic and 17 days for O/S. I believe he is considering this.

If you can prove with your PGP that you were a vendor from SR, then you will not have to pay fees to sign up as a vendor.

I think the no finalizing rule should still apply even if your an old vendor, but I don't believe a decision has been made on this.

BMR has too many Captchas, so its harder for vendors to reply to mass amounts of messages.

AFAIK BMR has no way to see if messages have been read.. This was a cool feature of SR..

I think its a security issue with BMR's forums always showing offline/online without any way of turning it off..

BMR lists their products by default in alphabetic order instead of by popularity (like SR did/should do). This has lead to vendors having a title starting with the special characters to get to the start of the list.. is ( ' 1g of my product.

I could go on :)

Well to begin with the forums are very hard to follow, as its impossible to subscribe to threads. on both BMR & Sheep market.

BMR has no autofinalising. And leaves it up to the vendor to open a dispute.. This is stupid.

Neither market has an easy way to browse by location.

These are simple things that made SR easy to work with.

I'm not sure how Sheep market's ranking system work, but BMR does not work on a weighted system. So that means a person with 1 transaction buying a $10 item vote  is worth the same as a person who has 100 transactions buying a $1000 item.

Welcome back Silk Roads, and hello to the new DPR.

I have found all the other marketplaces very second rate. They don't seemed to have learned about any of the good (or bad) things about the original SR.

and FINALLY a marketplace with decent forums!
