Title: How do I report a forum user?
Post by: cosmictourist on September 16, 2013, 09:13 pm
I've received an ad for coke via PM from 'now103', surely this is a big no no? I looked at the user profile, but saw no option to report or flag, as I can do for posts.

It happens all the time. Ignore it, or change your profile to be hidden when you're logged in.

That's how they do it - they PM everyone who's online at the moment.

I got the same message. This guy seems to be targeting people who posted in the Newbies forum today.
It's obviously a scam. I hope no one falls for it.

You can either block the user from your profile or harden the fuck up

Treat all unsolicited messages sent via the forums or market site as potential scams.

I got the same PM but it was sent under the name of 'five5', so blocking names would seem to be pointless. I considered warning others but eventually just ignored it.
