Title: ordered from vendor..asked me to resend address and hasn't logged on since

hello all,

I am getting rather worried about my first order here on the road.  I ordered US domestic from the vendor on Aug 30th and the product has not yet arrived.  The vendor was away for 6 days, during which time I sent him a few messages and eventually took it into resolution.  He got back from vacation and sent me a message that two orders had been mixed up and asked me to resend address.  So, we came to a six day extension resolution.  He has not been active since I sent my address, however, he does currently have listings posted. So, that makes 9 out of 10 days where he has been inactive...

My questions: Am I getting scammed? should i worry that his account has been compromised by LE?

I sent the address PGP encrypted of course...

Perhaps the vendor got compromised in real life by LE...

I thought of that as a possibility.  So, should I be worried that LE has his PGP key and can read my shipping address.  If I delete a message on my side does it get deleted from a vendor account?

Deleting the message your side does not delete it on the vendors side.

I wouldn't be to concerned, sounds more like this vendor isn't running a very tight ship, just take it through the resolution process accordingly. If you wanted to be extra cautious and suspect this vendor has been compromised then you should of course clean house though.

Will do.  It is a drop address anyway.  Just want to make sure I am taking every precaution possible.

Update:

Now vendors listings have been removed, BUT, it says he/she has not logged on!!  How is this possible??!!

If a vendor dpoes not log in for 3 days their account is automatically put into vacation mode and all listings are taken down. I assume that is what has happened in this instance.
