Which is better for security and why?

searching the forums will lead to a lot of indepth information on why privnote is not a good idea.
But the overall thinking goes is that
You trust a server with your sensitive information where the illegal substance will be shipped or a PGP where nothing is stored any where and only two parties know the information. Those being the buyer and seller.

PGP is the safer alternative because you are not entrusting your information to a 3rd party.
Do not use Privnote, anyone remember what just happened to Tormail?
