Is there a way to successful raffle off an item on the Road? I keep trying to figure it out logistically and can't. Outside of that, the utmost concern I have is buyers being confident in the legitimacy of the raffle. Clearly, not interested in scamming anyone but is there a way to guarantee that the winner would be chosen @ random; i.e. make sure that as a seller I am not choosing a winner with whom I am associated.

First and foremost you need a vendors account, without that you are not permitted to sell anything.

That's understood and that's fine, but it doesn't answer my question. Maybe i wasn't clear? Can I successfully raffle an item on the Road? are there checks and balances for the person purchasing it so they know that A) it's not a scam and B) im not just going to "randomly" choose a winner who just so happens to be someone I know, etc.

Some vendors do conduct lotteries yes, that is totally permissible.
To find out how best to go about running one though you will have to ask around, sorry it's not something I have any experience of.
