I ordered some items from a vendor on SR and I never used him before. After telling me on Sunday the 18th he would ship on Monday morning. Today nine days after it was declared in transit the vendor dissapears from SR. I did not finalize early because I never used him so far, I also messaged him on SR about the status of my order and I have still not heard a response. Is there anyway that I can cancel the order. I never dealt with a package not coming but I read the page on Resolving. Please let me know what I can do so I can quickly make another order.

Depends on why he "disappeared". If he was demoted you might be able to contact SR support about your escrow, otherwise on the tenth day in transit you will be able to click the resolve button and take it to the resolution center. So worse case scenario you wait one more day if it has been 9 days in transit.

I am in the same boat with vendor GreenOvenDoor. I was told that i have to wait until i have the option to click "resolve" nest to where you finalize and then i could get my coins back out of escrow. In my case the vendor was banned so I think its a bunch of BS i have t wait when I know there is nothing in the mail coming my way. Basically it was marked in transit on friday and he was banned on saturday or sunday so I am sure he didn't ship it. I really need to order some herb but can't because all coin is in escrow. Very frustrating!!!

It's frustrating but that's the process for SR Support to retrieve your coins and refund your account.

In my case the vendor was banned so I think its a bunch of BS i have t wait when I know there is nothing in the mail coming my way. SR admins will never just cancel a confirmed order placed before a vendor is demoted, if they did that everyone who ordered from the vendor in the days or even week before they got banned could potentially try it on.
At the end of the day you will most likely get a 100% refund with no damage to your stats, yes you may have to wait a week or so to get it but at least you will get it. Please remember you are buying illegal drugs over the internet delivered to the address of your choosing, sometimes I think I must be the only person left who is still amazed there even is a resolution center.
I understand your frustration but try and see things from a glass half full perspective instead of focusing on the slight inconvenience of having to wait a few days for your refund, no offense intended by the way.
