Title: PlanetExpress - FE scammer
Post by: ILikeYou on August 19, 2013, 04:20 pm
SR support needs to step up and stop letting him scam newbies FEing.

http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/a90545fe08

Over last 4 days he's got over $16k in orders. First prior two weeks he was only selling apv and .1's of bth

Now he has the stock of Pablo Escobar. 40 lbs weed, 1000s of pills, acid, now meth.

Please support do something to end this.

I mean these people are dumb for FEing but come on SR do something and pause his account until people start realizing his shit isn't coming.

I mean has anyone corroborated that their package has came beside the first two weeks when  he was selling APV?

I mean look people are still FEing, idiots!!!

5 of 5         8 minutes    item (Ounce for $163.00)
5 of 5    FE for trusted vendor    28 minutes    item (Ounce for $163.00)
5 of 5    FE as requested. Look forward to doing business together.    43 minutes    item ($217.00)
5 of 5    FE like everyone else. Hopeful based on past reviews    49 minutes    item
5 of 5    Finalized early    53 minutes    item ($217.00)

I mean shit $660 in the past hour. This motherfucker is gonna walk off with $20k plus.....

If you go back to the earlier feedback, he real reviews (not just people saying "FE").

But his prices are so good.... I think he's getting TONS of orders and people are FEing because they want the good deal. I would keep my eye on him because I don't know how he can keep up with this demand unless he's the Walmart of SR.

I reported this vendor myself last night to the admins for an audit, I would encourage others to do the same when the market site comes back up.

I know whenever these apparent scams unfold everyone looks to SR and blames them but quite frankly those FE for these types of blatantly suspicious vendors need to take some personal ownership of their choices, I mean seriously who FE for a vendor with pages filled with FE and too good to be true prices listed? c'mon people step it up, this is scam 101 here ffs.

Can't SR put a big WARNING somewhere in the finalizing part, something like, "Reputable vendors will NOT ask you to finalize early. If you finalize early, there is no way to get a refund if your product does not arrive."

I had thought FE was normal and something I "had" to do as a new buyer and now I regret it :-(

yeah, what samesame said....geez people/newbies....read the forums before ya jump the fuck in.....

NEVER...EVER...FE!!!   Sometimes when someone does FE it goes ok....however for the most part...FE is bad unless you have purchased from an ALREADY  REPUTABLE Vendor  SEVERAL times and have built a TRUSTING buyer seller relationship.....NEVER FE.....ugh....i am about to snap  ???

+1 Exactly what he/she said.

I've only FE'd for a few vendors, who had 300+ transactions, and their reviews were tremendous. And with those vendors, i still always FE.

But after looking over this guys page, and his listings. It is a very safe assumption to say he's scamming.

Noone with a list like that with prices that undercut so many, could be legitimate.

I didn't order from PlanetExpress - this looked way too good to be true. His prices are below street value even.

Plus he's only been around for a month... if you look back to his early orders, he does have some "real" feedback (not just FE), but these could be from fake accounts I suppose... I wish there was a way for SR to spot this, like if these are all coming from new accounts with no other activity, etc.

if someone has like 10$ they feel like they can throw away, purchase some of his adderall, wait for him to mark in transit, and leave terrible feedback with a link to this thread

@ ChronicDemon

I know what you're sayin....and there will be plenty of people that do that...However...that doesnt make it right.....two wrongs don't make it right...now don't get me wrong, i've been an ass from time to time...and i regret being a butthead at those times...If as Vendors, we're Honest with our Customers...& Our Customers are Honest with Us.....There will be Wonderful Bonds Built between the Vendors and Buyers  ;)

Trust, goes Both ways....ya know?  Respect and Politeness also goes both ways  ;)

Listen...this is just my own opinion, to many questions to Vendors sometimes freaks them out  LOL

just order then when ya recieve....and ya like it...let them know...Build a Trusting relationship....ya know?

Being that usps priority is 2 days to most places, and tracks now, people should have some orders..heck even first class mailed Thursday or Friday would be showing up..

Ironically my fiancee saw the list of items PE was selling a week or more back and said that just looks like a scam...I said oh I dont know, I had bought a few valium, and they showed up..but I didn't FE and it was like 11 bucks or something..so the existing feedback is probably not padded..I almost feel bad because some fool took into account that I left feedback on a few valium and decided to FE..

Don't waste your time. SR sanctions vendor scamming. I was on them about Goldmax and they did NOTHING even though he was breaking SR rules for 30 days require FE (new vendors are not allowed to do this as per the sellers contract). SR doesn't care, they allow all scamming as long as they get their cut.

ETM, lucydrop, tony76, jimmy buffet,  i can list a bunch more  scammers that many of us warned SR about and SR waited until they made off with a shit load of BTC before SR acted.. I can agree on one point that you cant stop morons from FEing, but SR can limit the amount a vendor can have in FE's and his listings freeze when he exceeds that. a vendor can have as many orders in escrow as they want. but when you see 5 pages of FE and the forums are lit up with no orders being received thats BS...many of the buyers are domestic and it dont take 8 days to get a letter. i have received stuff from Germany, UK and canada in 7 days.   the other idea is to limit the amount of FEs a vendor can ask for in a weeks time. than they lose it for a week... by than most orders should be received within 14 days.  If you have the smarts to develop SR, finding a way to curb this kind of abuse should be easy.

It is like groundhog day watching an FE scam unfold I know, I was placed in the uncomfortable position of having to call the ETM scam just as I was going out for dinner on Sunday afternoon having seen events start to unfold throughout the day. It was uncomfortable back then because I hadn't been a moderator that long so I was still a little unsure I was calling it right but went with my gut feeling anyway. Spent the entire evening shitting myself wondering what kind of drama was unfolding on the forums and whether I had either called it right or just hung out to dry a vendor who was at that time ranked in the top 1%.

From my perspective things have tightened up a lot over the last 6 months and even the FE scams that have taken place have been no way near as big as those previously and I have personally seen vendors accounts locked out before they could even make off with the FE'd funds.

As to whether DPR will implement changes that will make this type of scam harder to perpetrate or not I do not know, I think there is definite room for improvement in this area though.

SR, PLEASE stop this.  Please understand newbies just don"t have that intuition of understanding when something on SR is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.   The fact that they are able to get to SR is amazing to most new people!!!  I also thought it was too good to be true.   I did make a huge purchase, however, I did NOT FE.  I always post to Vendors who require FE "this is not the SR way. It's highly discouraged and will not make you a high profile producing vendor.

Once a potential scammer has been identified, features, such as FE , should be disable for the vendor until a full investigation and determination can be identified. Also, no additional order should be allowed, and users  should not have to wait the full 15 days to receive refunds.

It's too late for SR to act; the damage is already done!

My order that FE'd like a dumbass was marked in transit last Wednesday and like everyone else, no one has recieved anything!!! Then the vendor asked me to change my feedback to 5/5 and he would give me a 50% refund. This is because it's free money to him and I am screwing up his chances of scamming more people.

I am totally convinced that this was nothing more than a well thought out scam!

Latest reviews had the link to Atlantis in them. Followed by an item review stating: 'PIECE OF SHIT ATLANTIS COCKSUCKING MOTHER FUCKER HACKED MY ACCOUNT!!! FUCK ATLANTIS!!!!!!!'

Now when one tries to access Planet Express' account, they are sent straight to Send Message. I hope this means we will be refunded 100% for those who did not FE.

Why don't they just do away with F/E completely?? Am I missing something? why wouldn't a reputable vendor agree to do away with it? they don't need F/E.
It goes against everything we stand for. Problem solved overnight.

We all saw this coming. I feel sorry for the guys who FE'd on multiple Oz's of weed and sheets of acid :( We all learn from our mistakes though. As shitty as this was, the guys who lost out this time will know to NOT FE ever again and wont let this happen to themselves.

I was a victim of LucyDrop's FE scam so I cant say I don't know how they feel.

Does any have any advice about how to get your bitcoin back if you didn't FE and it is in escrow? It seems as though PlanetExpress has been removed from the site so they now know what is up. Is there a site admin or other way to contact SR to discuss?

If the vendor is suspended and you never FEd, I assume the orders are cancelled and your BTC will be refunded to you automatically.

I am very, very disgusted with SR and support on this one. You guys really dropped the ball and I believe showed your true colors.

You had this guy blatantly ripping people off and going against the "rules of the road" by demanding FE for half price products. Needed FE to keep supply up. That's odd for someone sitting on thousands of hits of everything and ounces of every powders on hand. EVERYONE with experience saw this and raised the flag, reported the vendor, warned users here.

What did SR do in this case, other than accept their commission on I'm guessing an easy $25k. Weak, bullshit response and behavior.

So if PE was locked out, surely even the people that FE'd should be reimbursed?

Latest reviews had the link to Atlantis in them. Followed by an item review stating: 'PIECE OF SHIT ATLANTIS COCKSUCKING MOTHER FUCKER HACKED MY ACCOUNT!!! FUCK ATLANTIS!!!!!!!'

Yes, I stupidly followed one of these phishing links on PE's feedback. Then got my account hacked and the hackers FE'd the order I had on hold with PE; so as they could leave more phishing links.
SR if they did freeze his funds could make a lot of unhappy people happy again here by doing the right thing.

Anyone who FE after PE was locked out of their account can be refunded yes. Those who FE before will probably not because rogue vendors tend to withdraw the funds off SR thus putting them out of SR's reach.

Thank you ssbd, I know my order was FE'd around the same time? (You know my situation regarding getting hacked.) I had been in escrow for a couple of days previously, awaiting him to be shut down.
I found out it was a scam before I FE'd as can be seen by this post:-

As I said the hackers FE'd so as to leave phishing links, which I can see in my feedback after I got my account back. So even though his account was open to enable the hackers to FE, he may have been locked out?
So please, would I need to send a ticket in for support to look into this, or is it simply a matter of leaving it with them now and letting them work it out?
Thanks.

SR's position is that buyers should not FE. So how is it SR's blame when people FE??

They provide an escrow service, if people decide to bypass it then they have decided to go without the help of the staff.

Blaming the staff on people choosing not to use escrow makes no sense.

I also placed an order with PE but did not FE and send a message to SR support staff last night. 20 minutes ago they fully refunded the btc to my account and cancelled the order.

Anyone else with funds still in escrow who don't want to wait for resolve to become available should do the same. Click the support link at the bottom right corner of the market page.
