I was discussing the recent change in command here on Silky with a friend of mine who was asking my a few questions about the deepnet over a some brews.
When I mentioned the name Dread Pirate Roberts he immediately laughed and told me to watch the 'The Princess Bride'.
I watched it and now the take over is making a lot more sense.
I'm sure this has been shared before on the forums but for those how haven't seen the movie it's worth the watch (even if it is on of the cheapest things I have seen in a long time it was quite enjoyable).
It has however lead me to speculation as to why the last Roberts retired?

Too funny, I watched it a few days ago, remembered seeing it years ago though. Do we have any Prince Humperdinck's or Buttercup's on here?

I also watched it about 2 weeks ago... for maybe the 15th time!
Love that friggin' movie. Rob Reiner's first film, an it's a cinema classic for the writing alone. Brilliant.
I got the Dread Pirate Roberts gag the 1st time I heard the name here on the forums. So, I've known from the start...

Inconceivable!

"My name is Inigo Montoya, Jou killed my father...prepare to die!"

How have I never seen this? Thanks for reminding me, gotta add this to my list!

Wow, I thought everyone got the reference. I suppose it makes sense though, that people who haven't been steeped in American culture might not understand. Makes a lot more sense now, eh?
